There is a factory in Northern Minnesota which makes the Tickle Me Elmo toys. The toy laughs when you tickle it under the arm. Well, Lena is hired at The Tickle Me Elmo factory and she reports for her first day promptly at 0800. The next day at 0845 there is a knock at the Personnel Manager's door. The Foreman throws open the door and begins to rant about the new employee. He complains that she is incredibly slow and the whole line is backing up, putting the entire production line behind schedule. The Personnel Manager decides he should see this for himself so the 2 men march down to the factory floor. When they get there the line is so backed up that there are Tickle Me Elmos all over the factory floor and they're really beginning to pile up. At the end of the line stands Lena surrounded by mountains of Tickle Me Elmos. She has a roll of plush red fabric and a huge bag of small marbles. The 2 men watch in amazement as she cuts a little piece of fabric, wraps it around two marbles and begins to carefully sew the little package between Elmo's legs. The Personnel Manager bursts into laughter. After several minutes of hysterics he pulls himself together and approaches Lena. "I'm sorry," he says to her, barely able to keep a straight face, but I think you misunderstood the instructions I gave you yesterday........ "Your job is to give Elmo two test tickles.

Could the next NFL commisioner be...
30dive replied to NorthWesternBill's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Folks.......STOP THIS!!!!!! The thread is about an idea for the next commish! Condi Rice said a number of years ago that it would be her dream job. Put your damn politics aside...You all would be suprised at the poilitics of your favorite players, owners etc. Who cares about the politics of the commish, the question is can the person do the job? For my money Condi would be great and as I said earlier so would Bill Clinton, assuming the former POTUS would be interested. -

Hey I'd be for Condi or Bill Clinton. They both have the smarts and understand the inportance of PR spin. -

Rd 3 of the draft: Whitworth or Colledge?
30dive replied to IndyMark's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I've been on Colledge band wagon since I saw him play two season ago against Oregon. I'm staying on it. Bring this kid in, possible guard as well. -
Ouch!

You are right, no one ever promised us the playoffs....But when the owner says the future is now, I've got to think he is not thinking that the draft is the way we are going to do it. That said, I will accept using the draft and building for future success.....But, I am still hoping that we build us a nice O-line for this year, that will give our "skill" players an opportunity to show their stuff and give us a chance in a few games for 2006.
-
But....But....But was it not to very long ago that we heard something to the effect that the future is now? I'll go with the plan to build through the draft, but it then does beg the question....."When is the future?"

You are right on point, I really do agree with nearly everything, you have said. I have said many times that we no nothing as compared to the ones working at One Bills Drive, and NO they are not going to tell us what they are planing on doing, but............I really would like to see the Bills, my Bills, bring in someone! Call it a fans frustration. Sure I'll sit back, watch and learn from the guys who have most likley forgotten more than I'll ever know (no that was not intended as a joke) but please give me something, just a little taste that says we have someone of quality to protect our QB and give us one or two more seconds for a play to develop.
-
For me I won't B word about a signing, any signing; but I will admit that I am getting a wee bit concerned about the lack of O-linemen being brought in to Buffalo. This team will NOT improve in 2006 unless we improve the O and D lines. Looking at the lines (not including TE) and if we take what we have done so far, we have added one quality D lineman, and zero O linemen. Assuming thats all we add on the D-line in free agerncy then it would seem that the only impact "need" player that might be availabel to us is Ngata, another D-lineman. So now what we draft a O-lineman in the 2nd? This most likely will not help us in 2006. Marv needs to sing at least two more quality impact free agent linemen, with at least one being on the O side. I know, I know this is all pretty obvious to us, but I really am starting to wonder if it is this obvious at One Bille Drive.

Here is a link.......But as I read it about the boats they don't start running until April 1. Crap....Sorry http://www.richmondriverfront.com/canalboatrides.shtml As mentioned above Maymont is also very nice, even without the bears.

Childrens Museum is really good. You may also want to go to the canal in Shockoe Bottom and take a ride on a canal boat.

Good thoughts and prayers -
Bingo, Pooj.......If you read a little further down the article it stated that she started at Gauludette (a college for the deaf in DC) in January, but had since come home. with no explanation. I don't want to speculate, oh hell yes I do, I think it would be resonable for the police to look for a suicide note. Oh and VA......I completly understand!

In with UCLA To win it all!

That is so funny that you said that. I told my wife last week that I think that the Sopranos will end just like Newhart did. But with Tony waking up one morning in his comfortable blue collar, italian-american home. He gets up shakes his head, reflecting upon the dream he has just had, gets dressed for work, grabs his lunch bucket and walks out the door, heading to the nearby neighborhood plant.
-
You might just have something there......The biggest clue is that Janices baby is 18 months old. That house Carmela is building has progressed quite a bit, NYC boss already in Jail and Phil is running things quite nice and is all lovey with Tony et al, there are a whole lot of things that need answers. And when did Tony did his taste for Sushi? Second thought, don't answer that!

Ease up folks......How many QB's has this guy gone through in DC? By all accounts the guy, a starter, can block, but wait we see the guy in one playoff game against the eventual NFC Champion, drop some balls and WE label him as "stone hands"! We really ought not to go to crazy here, WE are more like Sgt Shultz than Vince Lombardi.....Really folks, we know Nut-ting.

OK, so the other day I pull into my banks parking lot and the car behind me nearly drives under my truck. I’m thinking this guy is pretty anxious to get to the bank this morning. So I proceed to the drive through and the same car pulls into the lane next to mine to also wait for the next teller. The next thing I see is one of the bank employees pounding on the glass at the teller’s window, telling her something and then she attacks the same car that nearly ran into me. Obviously I roll down my window to try to figure out what is going on while this bank employee continues to pound on the driver side window and scream at the driver. The next thing I see is the bank manager helping his employee drag the driver out of the car as the police arrive. Now I’m thinking the guy could not have robbed the bank, he pulled in behind me and was waiting in line to do bank business. It did not appear that it was domestic, as the driver was in his early 20’s and the bank employee was in her early to mid 40’s, so I continued to listen….And what was all the commotion about? This guy stole the ladies car in the bank parking lot the day before and was coming to the drive through with three forged checks (hers) he was planning to cash at the bank. Yep, he stole the car of a bank employee at her place of work, and then went back to the same bank in an attempt to cash the victims checks at the bank in which she worked the very next day.

I was not able to see the show last night (TiVo'd it) I'll watch this weekend. I am dissapointed that Ayla is gone but I thought her hair, dress and song were pretty bad the other night. I really thought her hair and clothes made her look like Kimmy ( the neighbor friend) from Full House...Ouch!

Played it for nine years and about 27 stitches to varrious parts of the body, from the early 80's in college and then with a couple clubs. The game is an awful lot of fun, and the social aspects (read drinking) are even better. The game, often refered to as a gentlemans game has driffted a wee bit away from that in the recent years.

I thought the tease was about the girls, the thread was about the boys? Oh crap I'm sooo confused.
