While I do not think that will happen, your unwritten point is correct. The proof here will be who else is brought in, not only coaches but players. Most of us will have a very clear understanding as to where this team will be going by early July.

is Dick Juron! Oh Happy Birthday to me, thanks Mr. Levy, thanks Mr. Wilson! I know I'm getting older and with age comes greater understanding. I was ready to just blow a gasket when I read on the ESPN scroll last night that the Bills had agreed in principle to go with Dick Juron, but alas what am I going to do? Stop being a Bills fan? No. Stop going to games? No, that won't happen either, so I guess I'm going to just sit back like the rest of you and see what happens. But is this really the best present the Bills could have given me?

What rental car company/s is this. We usually rent a car to make family trips. Most recently this past Chrsitmas, from Virginia to upstate NY, no charge by the good folks at Hertz. Also rented a car in Buffalo for the Denver and traveled to Canada, no charge by the good folks at Enterprise.

As a parent you never think it could happen

I'll have a prayer and a good thought for Mera, you and yours. -
There is some super stud Full Back from Brown that would be a nice pick up for the Bills too!

From the first school distrcit in the USA to put a laptop computer in every middle and high school students bookbag. Introducing the new Bio-Optic Organized Knowledge device, trade named: BOOK BOOK is a revolutionary breakthrough in technology: no wires, no electric circuits, no batteries, nothing to be connected or switched on. It's so easy to use, even a child can operate it. Compact and portable, it can be used anywhere -- even sitting in an armchair by the fire -- yet it is powerful enough to hold as much information as a CD-ROM disc. Here's how it works: BOOK is constructed of sequentially numbered sheets of paper (recyclable), each capable of holding thousands of bits of information. The pages are locked together with a custom-fit device called a binder, which keeps the sheets in their correct sequence. Opaque Paper Technology (OPT) allows manufacturers to use both sides of the sheet, doubling the information density and cutting costs. Experts are divided on the prospects for further increases in information density; for now, BOOKs with more information simply use more pages. Each sheet is scanned optically, registering information directly into your brain. A flick of the finger takes you to the next sheet. BOOK may be taken up at any time and used merely by opening it. Unlike other display devices, BOOK never crashes or requires rebooting, and it can even be dropped on the floor or stepped on without damage. However, it can become unusable if immersed in water for a significant period of time. The "browse" feature allows you to move instantly to any sheet and move forward or backward as you wish. Many come with an "index" feature, which pinpoints the exact location of selected information for instant retrieval. An optional "BOOKmark" accessory allows you to open BOOK to the exact place you left it in a previous session -- even if the BOOK has been closed. BOOKmarks fit universal design standards; thus, a single BOOKmark can be used in BOOKs by various manufacturers. Conversely, numerous BOOKmarkers can be used in a single BOOK if the user wants to store numerous views at once. The number is limited only by the number of pages in the BOOK. You can also make personal notes next to BOOK text entries with an optional programming tool, the Portable Erasable Nib Cryptic Intercommunication Language Stylus (PENCILS). Portable, durable, and affordable, BOOK is being hailed as a precursor of a new entertainment wave. Also, BOOK's appeal seems so certain that thousands of content creators have committed to the platform and investors are reportedly flocking. Look for a flood of new titles soon.

Would you let a dog smell your breath?
30dive replied to Draconator's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If this is so, then it begs the question: Don't we have medical equipment that when one breaths (exhales) into that it could read the same cancer cells that emit different metabolic waste products than normal cells? Those differences between these metabolic products that are so great that they can be detected by a dog's keen sense of smell, ought to be able to be detected by one of those fancy machines that the folks over at CSI/CIA/NSA/FBI have, right? I mean this really does make sense, but if a dog can detect this, then we ought to have medical testing equipment that can read the same things. -
Please.....I don't want Marv to listen to the fans, all I am saying is that when he picks a coach, he must pick a coach for his knoweledge of the X's and O's, his ability to motivate players, and for THIS Bills team in 2006 the next coach ought to be one who, by his resume, gets the fans to buy tickets, or dare I say keep their tickets.

You just made me rethink the whole idea about having a female doctor. I feel better already.

Bill I think it would be fair to say that they do not stop here every day, but they read the paper, they listen to the radio, a good business/community leader must. They must have a some knowledge of the pulse of the community. The community wants a winner, and they know that this town will accept whoever they bring in because, well we have no real choice, but the community will be much happier if they bring in a guy who has won before, not a guy they think can win with the right tools (Juron)
-
......and dollars too. Most importantly Mike Sherman, is a winner on the field, he has won playoff games, the naming of Mike Sherman as HC will put fannys in the seats at One Bills Drive. Bringing in Dick Juron, may not be a horrible choice, he might even prove to be a pretty good coach (he had no talent in Chicago) but he will do nothing for advance (read season ) ticket sales. This truely is Marvs first real test as a GM, he needs to take into account what the naming of a head coach means, he not only needs to bring in a guy who can win, but he needs to bring in a guy that will help sell tickets. Sherman has been associated with winning, Juron has not. Winning sells tickets. This just makes cents.

Did Simon (who I like) really have to tell that guy to shave, wear a dress and become a female impersonater? I understand that these people understand that they run the risk of getting laid out by the judges but I really thought that this fell off the cruel scale.

I wonder if JP thinks he got MM & TD Fired

TD was fired, MM QUIT! -
Nick not Lou, or is this some kind of a joke?
-
I am pretty sure he was on Kay Stephenson's staff.

Sounds like this should be moved to the PP
-
Sherman is the right choice. And it makes good financial sense for Ralph as well.
-
Which is why the Bills will name a new head coach Thursday at a 4pm press conference. The new coach will then join Marv Levy and Tom Modrak in Mobil AL, to watch prospective draft choices and interview ass't coaches. Sounds good to me.
