Roll Call. Buffalo vs Dallas there in Arlington
BritBill replied to CowgirlsFan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Obviously a bit of a stretch for me to get there but the game on Thanksgiving night is a perfect way for me to start my 40th birthday celebrations. We'll set up some wings, hot dogs and various other finger foods on the table whilst the game is on. I'll let my son stay up late to watch all the game. My friend who I go to the London games with is a Cowboys fan so I might let him pop over too. -
No worries. I only became a Smiths admirer after the fact. They were at their peak just before I became an age to get really interested in music. I got to The Smiths via later bands like The Stone Roses, The Charlatans and Oasis. All bands from the Manchester area who were influenced by The Smiths. Noel Gallagher idolises Johnny Marr.

His recent political allegiances have caused some hysterical uproar. Almost beautifully done.

Good article on Josh (The Ringer)

I would have loved to have seen a photo of him in those shorts. -
Let's not pretend The Smiths were just Morrissey. Johnny Marr was a more talented musician.

Granted the schedule heats up after the Denver game but this Bills team seems to have coped pretty well with losses this season. It would have been fairly understandable for their heads to drop after a loss but they've bounced back each time. Fair enough, we played Washington and Miami straight after defeats but we're not exactly that good a team to be saying those were shoe-ins. Especially with Miami winning a couple beforehand. The win against Tennessee was a great bounce back after the New England loss. I believe the team is mentally strong enough to pull out a result or two between Denver and Jets. They seem to revel in the underdog role.

How do you intend on celebrating?

Cleveland Fans Triggered by Mike Tomlin
BritBill replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Osi Umenyiora thought the ban was harsh. That’s as close as I’ve found to anyone in the media defending Garrett. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/av/american-football/50494989 -

Speculation that AB could return to Pats after apology

Looks way too consensual. -
Way To Rewatch Game. No DVR

I spent the first 10 weeks of last season signing up for the free trial, cancelling immediately after the Bills had played and repeating every week. It wasn't notice until week 10 and by then you could purchase a subscription at a reduced rate. -
Around the League, week 11

I've just seen Rivers' interceptions from last night. He's making throwing the ball look like it's the hardest thing he's ever had to do. -
They’re a ***** pair that’s for sure. Oasis were the band I idolised as a teenager. Bought all the albums and singles. Got to see them live in around 2005 at City of Manchester Stadium. I’m not a big fan of the Gallagher’s solo stuff.

That particular track was co-written by Noel Gallagher. Gallagher also performs the vocals.

Bills/Pats game time set

Sound that. We have our annual Christmas poker night that particular night in a local sports bar. Poker and football. Nice. -
One of my all time favourite songs.

I saw a bit of the Raiders on Redzone last week and their offensive line looks pretty good. If they can win the battle against Bosa they can win this one. Incognito looks in good fettle still. Look for Jacobs to run towards the left side of his line a lot. Big question is still the Raiders D.

For the first time in as long as I can remember the Bills play on the same day as my soccer team over here in the UK. I get to take my son to the soccer then back home in the warmth to watch the game. Will put a lovely pot of chicken and potato curry on the slow cooker before we go to soccer so we can tuck in as the Bills do the business. Must be a fair number of Bills fans going to this one?

The London Chargers? In the AFC East? It could happen
BritBill replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Untrue and amazingly ironic. -
Think Haskins’ size helped. If it had been Murray it might not have ended so well.
-
Fingers crossed they run some kind of stunt play and he has a meeting with Phillips, J.
-
They’re having one of their best seasons in recent memory. Chap wants to relax.

Aye, I’d much rather have him sat next to Reynolds than some of the others on Sky. I’d also much rather have him on tele than anywhere near the Bills sideline.

Philly fans really are the worst
BritBill replied to Dan Darragh's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I must say, of all the fans I’ve encountered here in the UK at the London games, Eagles fans were the most obnoxious and unsociable. However, they were dealt with in an un-Buffalo way. A quick “shut up you bellends” in a gruff northern English accent did the trick that time.
