  1. I've got some video tapes to take back.
  2. In geographical terms where was The Rockpile? I'm presuming it wasn't in Orchard Park where New Era is now.
  3. Thanks all. The replies have definitely got me leaning towards yards allowed over points conceded. I also like the yards per play model. Should there be more credit given for lower yards per rush play over yards per pass play? Or vice versa.
  4. I'm unsure. I've kind have been a points allowed chap but that can be skewed slightly like yards allowed by garbage time vanilla defense but maybe not as much. What about red zone points against? Also does everyone apply the same rules to judging an offense as they do a defense?
  5. When you're assessing if a team has a good/great/elite defense what yardstick do you use? Yards allowed? Points allowed? Third down stops? 3 and outs? Sacks? Let me know your thoughts?
  6. Excellent. I hope they enjoyed their time in our city? We’re very proud of it.
  7. Nope. There were question marks so it was just a question.
  8. Social restriction boredom had got to me tonight and I’ve just been thinking, what scenarios would need to happen the Bills to get back into the first round of the 2020 draft? Anyone?
  9. Are you classing NP as a QB? ? There was the two throws in the snow to Benjamin and did he throw a TD in the Texans game before sealing their win with a pick 6?
  10. When I see videos like this, of any QB not just Allen, I normally think you could produce the same thing for nearly every QB and make them look a star. However, Allen makes 2 or 3 throws there only the likes of Rodgers and Brees would make. The throw to Beasley from the end zone versus Dallas and the cross body/field versus Houston are the ones I could watch over and over. He reduced the brain f@rts over the course of the season. Helped by being given Beasley. The obvious progression is now getting the deep throws more consistently. 2020 is a big year for Allen.
  11. I picked him as a rookie and as I play in a keeper league he's gone nowhere since and won't be going anywhere in the future. Bridgewater and McCaffrey are a nice 1-2 for the Panthers but they'll need them to be on fire as they'll need to score 30 points a game to hit up that dub.
  12. We’ve set up a street WhatsApp group for people to stay in touch and offer/request help during the restrictions. As it turns out, the fella 3 houses down is a Seahawks fan (could be worse, right?) but he was actually at the Bills 2012 season opener at the Jets. I chose not to discuss the game too much.
  13. He wasn’t being a real athlete though. He was a phoney one and it soon became clear. Hopefully he has seen the light but wishing death on someone suggests he’s still at the start of the tunnel.
  14. If she burned to death I’d have a go on her ashes. She was doing the early show for NFL Network before the Patriots home game last season. She looks just as stunning in real life as she does on television.
  15. Teacher walks from job as pupil out grows her.
  16. I've listened to a few of Wood's podcasts and they'be been great. The Beane, Incognito x 2 and Fitzpatrick episodes especially. His chat with Nick Mangold was decent too.
  17. We now live in a world where being proved right is more important than being successful. Instant gratification nation.
  18. My friend's father died from it on Saturday night. It's awful. My friend suffers from anxiety and depression already so we're remotely going to have to keep an eye on him.
  19. I’d love Allen to have a 2020 season like what Carr had in 2019.
  20. Rosenthal has had a bee in his bonnet about the Bills for a while. If you go and look at his weekly game score predictions he had us going about 3-13 and even when he predicted a win he made sure there was some snide comment. I bet he’s about 5’ tall as well.
  21. We had a retired racer when I was in my late teens/early 20's. He was a beautiful big lad. Black with a white underbelly. His name was Flash. He was only just over 2 year's old when we adopted him. So placid and loving. Only barked when it was toilet time. But he came to life when it was time for a walk. He always kept the instinct to chase anything small and furry. We had a plenty of "mis-haps" with a few of the local cats over the years. I always recommend Greyhounds when people mention they're thinking of adding to their family. It sounds you enjoy your two characters as much as we did Flash.
  22. The last two years play offs he's shown up. 2018 - 176 yards (2 games) 2019 - 288 yards (3 games) 1TD. He ruined Sherman when it really, really mattered in the Super Bowl.
  23. I’m down to 25 now. Years. Good luck training your colleague and with your many retirement years ?
  24. Are those cap numbers for real?! Brady left them neck high in it with that dead cap hit.
