Kyler Murray ran the ball 13 times, only got hit once

Every time I see Murray run I can't get the Benny Hill music out of my head. -

Right side of OL week two
BritBill replied to Ethan in Cleveland's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Smith being inactive told you what was going to happen. The Jets were never going to stop the passing game. McDermott knew it, Gase knew it and I suspect if I asked my Nan she knew it as well. -
Great quote about Allen by Stefon Diggs
BritBill replied to Logic's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Of those 5 it's been pretty evident for a while now Its Allen and Jackson who are the ones you'd follow into battle any day of the week . Rosen would ruin a night out with Freddie Mercury. It's his face. Who has confidence in that? Darnold's pretty similar. He always looks like he found a fiver but lost a tenner but playing under Gase will do that to anyone. Baker just seems like a little prick. -

Hard Knocks: LA - Premiers tonight 8/11
BritBill replied to DrDawkinstein's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I watched the first episode last night and based on that my original view of A Lynn might have been harsh. When he was cutting the aggressive TE I thought he was getting ready for some fisticuffs. The way he stood up and looked the lad in the eye all the way through was good. Also, what is it about Sean McVay which gets on my nerves? I know he’s one of the younger coaches but it does come across like he’s trying to hard to be down with the kidz. -
Gunner's roster thread.... 2020 style - UPDATED
BritBill replied to GunnerBill's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Looking at Gunner's roster, the OL is now what can be considered solid/good. The receivers are very good. Running backs have potential to be game winners. The defence as we know is legit top 5. Playing devil's advocate, you could say everything is in place for Allen to succeed but also for if he doesn't take the step we're hoping for and expecting. If Allen's play takes a step backwards (not beyond the realms of possibility) and we're looking at a new QB this time next year they will be coming into an organisation with a strong set up for a new QB. Totally different to 2018. Please don't take this is Allen bashing. I like him. I think he's a good QB with through the roof potential and balls bigger than King Kong. Potential isn't always realised though. -
Hard Knocks: LA - Premiers tonight 8/11

True. Goff was horrendous in the SB and hasn't seemed to get over it. -
Hard Knocks: LA - Premiers tonight 8/11
BritBill replied to DrDawkinstein's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'm yet to watch the first episode but I'm not as big on A Lynn as most. I'll be keen to see if that changes over the next few weeks of Hard Knocks. Also, McVay's stock has lowered since their Super Bowl loss. Jeff Fisher and Hue Jackson were disappointing during their stints on Hard Knocks. Where as Jon Gruden was a pleasant surprise. -
Lee Smith's excited little shuffle after his TD catch versus Titans was one of the highlights of last season.

You can taste the blandness with your eyes. Does that say 45% of your suggested daily salt allowance?!

Talking of tailgating, when we were over last September we were treated to some stunningly tasting Stromboli. Something we don't have in the UK. Please can anybody recommend a simple meat Stromboli recipe please? I've seen a few online but wonder if anybody knows better than the world wide web. @plenzmd1 was it you who made this taste from the gods?

Sounds like an excellent plan. Good work! We normally make a little fuss about the opening Sunday and rustle up some American themed food and beer. Even better this year as we're in the process of renovating the back yard to have it 75% decked and 25% paved. Making the social area larger and installing some outdoor heating. Just need to find a way to get the game on a large tv outside.

Not a TV show but Emilio in Mr Deeds deserves a very sneaky mention. -

Here's the British Lovejoy - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lovejoy Masterfully played by Ian McShane of Deadwood fame. Although, I preferred him in Sexy Beast. -
I'd love for there to be more NFL games on a Saturday. Unsurprisingly, I've never had much interest in the college game so wouldn't miss that. I quite often watch another game between two other teams once the Bills have finished on a Sunday (if 1pm ET KO) so I'd easily get into watching other teams on Saturday night if it were to happen. I certainly prefer to watch a Bills night game which kicks off at 1am Sunday morning than 1am Monday morning over here. As usual though, one man's trash is another man's treasure.

Favorite Pre-Corona Vacation Destination?
BritBill replied to NoHuddleKelly12's topic in Off the Wall Archives
What did you think of Gibraltar? We didn't like it. It was like going back in time to a late 80's Britain. The saving grace was the ride up to the top of the rock and the WWII tunnels. We loved Malaga. A very laid back City. The Picasso museum is excellent. I've also visited Barcelona and Lisbon but to watch soccer. We had 3 nights in Barcelona so got to see nearly everything. Lisbon I've been to twice but each time was just for the day. Well, I say day but the first time ended up a long day. Left home at 6pm Saturday. Flight to Lisbon left around 2am. I fainted on the plane. Landed in Lisbon at 4am. Into the city centre by 5am. Plenty of time to have a wander. Up to see Sporting Lisbon's stadium. Drinks and food by the Tagus then back to Rossio Square for pre-match party. Soccer game kicked off at 9pm. Straight to the airport after the game but not before being taken to some kind of holding centre which thankfully had a bar and somewhere to relax. Flight home around 4am. Land back in England about 6am. Finally made it back through my front door around 8am on the Monday. I'd just got showered and laid on my bed for a sleep when a mate knocked on my door asking if I fancied the pub. Good job I was 24 at the time. -

That sounds excellent. We did a day trip to Gibraltar one year which took us to the region to the west of Malaga. Stopped off at Puerta Banus. Did you get to Malaga city itself? -

A small town on the Costa del Sol called Nerja. Sandwiched between the Sierra Nevada mountain range and the Mediterranean. Small winding streets and buildings with white-washed walls. A multitude of restaurants covering all types of cuisines. Only about an hour from Malaga and the airport.
