  1. Nah, I intend on doing something I don't usually do.
  2. I kind have liked how awkward the snow angel with Allen looked. It was goofy fun and McDermott was totally out of character. Not like him to behave like that but I wouldn't want him to all the time. There has to be a line between a leader and those who follow and I think the line is clear but he also clearly shows a human side. Now, if we win the the SB I'd want him to go full Frank the Tank frat party mode. Go missing after the parade and turn up 3 days later divorced, covered in tattoos and driving an electric car around like the Dukes of Hazard.
  3. 49ers 24-31 Bills 49ers give as much as they can but ultimately the overall better team prevail in a game so entertaining I spend all day Monday watching highlights.
  4. Happy Thanksgiving, my American pals. I hope you all have a great day with your loved ones. Have fun but have fun by being disciplined 👍
  5. Egyptian Museum - Cairo. Totally fascinating and historic. Just ignore the bullet holes on the front wall where Islamist fundamentalists shot at some German tourists. Natural History Museum - London. So fascinating and always something different to see when you go. Slightly different and not technically a museum but Ripley’s Aquarium in Toronto is the best of its kind I’ve ever been to.
  6. Everything McCartney does is annoying so that song of his automatic. Fairytale of New York gets my vote.
  7. I had a dabble at the bookies last night. I bet a TE/QB/DEF anytime TD treble (parlay). Noah Gay Texans D Kyler Murray £5 stake would have paid near £600. Kyler Murray is not very popular in my head this morning.
  8. I’ve a firestick so can get all US local networks and national broadcasts. Redzone through Sky. I’ve been convinced Lions v Colts is the way to go. Patriots v Dolphins if the first choice is a blow out. Wanting a Patriots win to put a nail in the Dolphin coffin. Cheers all. Enjoy your Bills free weekend. Although it looks like some are in spousal bother and may struggle with that!
  9. Evening all. If the Bills aren’t playing I usually tune into RedZone. I fancy a change this week. Which of the 6pm (1pm your time) games do you think has the most scope to entertain?
  10. The charging buffalo Allen drew on my upper arm.
  11. Sorry, the 9ers. Ravens & Washington too.
  12. 9ers at GB
  13. The delay shouldn't impact warming a tin of beans and putting some bread in the toaster.
  14. Brilliant thoughts and words @Shaw66 For me you got across the essence and emotion of watching a big live sporting occasion which will always trump watching on television. Being in attendance to witness first hand a great sporting moment and the feelings it promotes can very rarely be beaten in my eyes.
  15. At least 8 more games kicking in a tumble dryer.
  16. Just checked and Wark played his last game for Ipswich on my 17th Birthday. He was 39 years old! To play for that long where the majority of his career killing someone in a tackle was deemed acceptable was some feat!
  17. Russell Osman too. Made during Ipswich's heyday hence the randomness of Wark and Osman. Robin Turner played in the German side. In fact, Kevin Beattie played Michael Caine's body double and Paul Cooper played Sly Stallone's. A true Tractor Boy fest!
  18. Reminds me of when my dad tried to teach us about the birds and the bees by letting us watch Porky's.
  19. I think we're an extremely balanced offense and Allen seems to be more mature in his play. The D seems to be doing enough to give that O more than a chance to win games. I am loving what the O line is becoming. However, we've had better teams over the last 4/5 years. I still think the D line will get found out and be left wanting again. The only true SB level unit on the is the CBs - Johnson, Douglas and Benford. Rapp and Hamlin are mediocre. I'd be more confident if Milano and Bernard were ever fit to play at the same time but it never seems to happen. The record so far is a damn sight better than what I was expecting this year and we'll win the division fairly comfortably. However, I'm not expecting a deep play off run and wouldn't be too shocked if it was a one and done situation this year. In conclusion, I like the record at this point but not sold on the team for the rest of the year. And looking at the cap/dead money and injury situations this year I'm fine with that. As long as it's just this year. Spring/Summer 2025 will be HUGE for the organisation.
  20. Bills got flagged for unnecessary roughness leading with the head when the Dolphins RB ran into Rapp. I’m not usually one to look at calls by the officials and be worried about the motives behind them but last night had me thinking something untoward was going on for the first time.
  21. My son plays one of the versions of it. I spent some time watching him play once and I was left very confused. Too much going on for me. I’m an Alex Kidd in Miracle World kind of chap. Also, my son loves fishing. He goes out whenever he can but now the days are getting shorter he also plays a fishing game on his Xbox. It’s quite something.
  22. Allen plays a "bad game" there and the Bills lose. The 2024 Allen is, at the moment, the "doing enough to win" Allen. The beast in him comes out every now and then when required. It seems we're now at the stage where (for some) Allen needs to be some kind of footballing Incredible Hulk to be deemed to have had a good game where it wasn't that long ago him constantly being a footballing Incredible Hulk was seen as a bad thing. I like this Allen.
