  1. If Josh Allen starts staring into a television which is only showing white scramble we're in bother.
  2. When we go to London our train arrives at King Cross (joined onto St Pancras) and we tend to stay in hotels not far from there. Gunner is probably better placed to advise on places to stay with him being from down there but the transport in London is so extensive and easy you really can't go wrong in terms of location.
  3. Definitely have a good walk if you can. If you get lost, just search on your phone for the nearest tube station. You'll lever be far from one. Some excellent self-guided walks can be found here - https://www.londonforfree.net/
  4. I don't think it's quite finished yet. Delayed by the Covid. Ready for the start of next season by all accounts.
  5. When Winterburn ***** himself 🤣 Villa park was the first "other" ground I went to. Was about 1990/91. We'd played a game in Walsall and then went to Villa v Sheff Wed after. It finished 1-1. We were in the Trinity Road but at the Holte End side. I found the Holte End breath taking at the time. Went back late 2000s to watch England v Holland. Terrible game but still found Villa Park beautiful.
  6. Villa Park and Hillsborough for me.
  7. Only time I’ve been to Brighton it was the Goldstone. 11am kick off on a Thursday morning. The first game had been abandoned following on pitch protests by the Brighton fans. I was still at school so probably 1995/96 time.
  8. I use this website when planning visits to grounds other than my team’s https://footballgroundguide.com/
  9. There could even be Champions League games on that Wednesday? You'd have to get lucky as it looks like Arsenal will be London's sole representative next season. Brighton ain't London but doable. Millwall yes. Luton isn't too far away. Crystal Palace is another.
  10. IF true there should be Premier League & Championship soccer matches between those dates. You'll probably have to wait until next month to know for certain.
  11. Teams played in London last season and didn't have a bye week the week after. It's not an automatic given.
  12. They played one game there a few years back but non since. I've never been (not a rugby fan) but the feedback seemed to be the seating was a bit cramped for space and the transport might not be as good to and from (though I may be wrong on that). It's an older stadium. Especially compared to Wembley and Tottenham. One of the other Brit guys on here who live further south than I might be able to give you more information on it.
  13. The Jags are playing in London (Wembley) as a home team this year. However, it's possible they can also be the away team in London (Tottenham) as well versus the Bills or Titans.
  14. @GunnerBill will love that.
  15. There won't be any Championship games the weekend of the 13th-15th October due to the Internationals. League One & Two will be playing.
  16. Yes, I remember that now you mention it. London had 2 FA Cup semi-finals at Wembley and the London marathon the weekend just gone. Having England play Friday and an NFL game on the Sunday will be no problem. The 15 October does make sense as there will be no Premier League games that weekend so Spurs' ground will be available.
  17. Just a heads up to those who like soccer as well in case the game in London is on 15 October, the England men's soccer team are playing Australia at Wembley on Friday 13 October.
  18. Chiefs & Eagles over Giants under
  19. And he then turns out to be the greatest DT of all time and your reaction is there to be mocked for decades.
  20. Jalen Redmond DT Oklahoma Jarrett Patterson C Notre Dame
  21. I'll go to bed and record the draft from when the picks start being made and will catch up with it Friday morning as luck would have it, I'm working from home. With the Bills due to pick so late I'm not staying awake until around 5am only for them to move down into the second round and I've had a sleepless night.
  22. To be fair, 80 pages of that is folk telling other folk how many pages the thread is up to 😆
  23. This came on during my walk to work this morning. It was almost enough to make a man go to the pub and have a fun day instead,
