I think I've been to Bruges but that was on a soccer tour back in the early/mid 90s. We did a few cities in Belgium but can't be sure or confess to knowing much about either city. I know it has 2 professional top flight soccer teams (Cercle & Club) 👍 My sister has been to Bruges a couple of times and enjoys it.

It was not an offer. That's what I'll say in court anyway. https://shp.csharmony.epsilon.com/pages/NFL_US/2023_London_ROI/?ck= You'll have to watch In Bruges before you head there 🙂

Yes without a doubt. I was 14 years old when they released Definitely Maybe. A bit too young to be "in moment" influenced by the likes of The Stone Roses releasing their first album "The Stone Roses" so Oasis and Definitely Maybe became the first album which appealed to me in that moment of my youth when I was starting to really take an interest in music and youth culture. Coming from the north of England and also sharing a forename with Liam made Oasis appealing outside of their music. My life for the next 15 years or so mainly consisted of going to watch soccer and going down to the record shop to buy albums (on CD back then!). Once I turned 18 regular trips to the pub were integrated. I was always the first to a jukebox. The video of them playing Lyla in Manchester in 2005 was one of 2 consecutive gigs they played over 2 nights. I was at one of them. Whether I was at the gig in the video I can't confirm or if I was at the other night's gig. I remember they'd just released Don't Believe The Truth and Turn Up The Sun was the first song they performed before following it with Lyla to get the whole stadium bouncing. If they ever get back together I'll pay whatever I have to. Also, my 12 year old son is also bang into them. So whenever we travel to soccer matches in the car he's always asking for Oasis on.

I lost a friend to cancer today. This is a song we used to drink, dance and sing along to years ago.

Hope you’ve made enough time for a few tiddlies and a ruby?

We're pushing back though, believe me. -
That or he/she meant "miners" and that makes it a different ball game.

All the airports have great transport links into central London. Especially Heathrow. The area which the stadium is in itself probably isn't the best for staying in. You'll be fine anywhere more central. You can get a London Overground train from Liverpool Street to White Hart Lane station (very close to Spurs stadium) and back. So if you're wanting an easy journey from the stadium to your hotel after the game then hotels around Liverpool St would suit.

That only happens when we're drunk 🙂

Now the date is confirmed, if anyone needs any help with anything about this side of the pond please feel free to ask 👍

No way he's getting one of those straps around his chin. -
Not necessarily. The teams have the option to have one after an International game.

The NFL’s target date to release the 2023 schedule - MAY 11

Bills play Jags on 8 October in London. -
When I did London to Paris by train a few years ago it worked out cheaper to get the Eurostar from London to Lille then another train to Paris. Added about an hour to the journey but I got to see a bit of Lille as well. The train station in Lille is very central to the centre.

At least the Bills are the most successful team in their own city.
-
Excellent! My mate and his son who we go to games with are Cowboys fans and were hoping it'd be them we play. I can't wait until October now. Last season drained me a little and a small part of me was relieved it was over. Having the Bills in London was a timely boost.

Where did you book to stay? We'll be coming down for the day unless my soccer team ends up playing in or around London on the Saturday. I suspect tickets will go on sale fairly sharpish. Last year, for some reason, I got sent a pre-sale link for the Jaguars game so got them. I can't see that happening for the Bills or Titans home games at Spurs. I reckon when they send an email confirming the games tomorrow they'll be further details about tickets.

Will know for sure this time tomorrow 👍

The NFL’s target date to release the 2023 schedule - MAY 11
BritBill replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yeah, it looked a nightmare to get tickets for that last year with it being Packers first time over. The games at Spurs are a tough get in comparison to Wembley due to the lower capacity as well. There's always a way in though. Even if you don't get a ticket in the initial sale. A few years ago we picked the Tampa v Carolina game as the one we wanted to that season and didn't get tickets in the initial sale. However, more came available later down the line due to returns of tickets offered to fans in mainland Europe that went unsold. I've just followed an account on Twitter called @nfuk_tickets which helps people needing tickets get them. Let me know how you get on in the initial sale. If you're unsuccessful I'll do what I can to find you a ticket. Chances are we'll be in the same boat! -

Hey NI, If you've done the pre-registering via the NFLUK/Ticketmaster channels I suspect you'll be getting an email with details of dates prices of ticket sales very soon. I'm hoping something in the next few days as details of the international games tends to be officially known before the general NFL schedule release which looks set for 11 may.
