We're up to 13 confirmed fine folk for the curry on Saturday night before the game. If anyone else would like to joins us (even just to get us off unlucky number 13!) they'd be most welcome. I'll be calling the restaurant to confirm numbers tomorrow night.

According to the below you can tap in and out on the Liz Line. You should be fine using Apple Pay on your iPhone or a debit/credit card if it had contactless payment ability. Do remember to tap in and out at the stations both ends of your journey. https://tfl.gov.uk/modes/elizabeth-line/your-journey-by-elizabeth-line#on-this-page-2

Of course, GG. I'll be in touch with final details at the end of the week.

That's all that's stopping it from happening, yes? 🤣

RIP David McCallum - Illya Kuryakin and "Ducky" Mallard

David McCallum wrote a piece of music entitled "The Edge". You may recognise it as it was sampled by Dr Dre in his hit single "The Next Episode". -
Any more the curry house on Saturday 7 October at 7:30pm? Eastern Eye Balti House 63A Brick Lane E1 6QL Restaurant is in between Shoreditch High Street London Overground & Aldgate East tube stations on the famous Brick Lane in the East End of London. I'll be calling to reserve a table this Saturday.

The UK Bills group have mentioned The Admiralty pub as a designated Bills pub for the weekend. The address is 66 Trafalgar Square, St James's, London, WC2N 5DS. The nearest tube station to the pub looks like Charing Cross served by the Bakerloo and Northern lines. There's also the The Fitzrovia Belle pub which is where the UK Bills meet to watch games. The address for this is 74 Tottenham Ct Rd, London, W1T 7NS. The nearest tube station is Goodge Street which is served by the Northern Line. You could do both mentioned pubs using the Northern Line! I hope this helps. The UK Bills social media channels would be the best place to get more information.

Here is the plan - https://easterneyebricklane.co.uk Are you wanting to join us? We have 7 so far. Dishoom is excellent though. My stepson used to work at the branch in Manchester. The bacon naan bread sandwich is one of the best breakfasts you’ll ever have. Any wind will be a non-factor. Spurs stadium is a big closed bowl. No roof so rain will have an impact if there is any.

If anyone else is wanting to join us for a curry on Saturday 7th evening could drop me message to confirm that would be great. We’ll be aiming to eat at 7pm. I’ll look at reserving the restaurant this time next week.

I wouldn't want to be used a political pawn either. Fair play if that's the case.

Looks like service will be very limited at best.

I quite often keep the third down throw from the end zone to Cole Beasley v Dallas on Thanksgiving for a night the missus goes to bed early.

Yes, happy for this to go as planned. We (my son, my friend, his son and I) will be going for a curry regardless so we can arrange a time in a week if that's suitable? Probably look to eat 7pm-ish. I can't imagine numbers will be that high for it but it's still be good meet fellow fans. I'm happy to send you my mobile number. My friend and his son are Cowboys fans so no arguing with your Eagle mate mind you 😁 Good luck with the Millwall/Hull match. We thought about going to QPR v Blackburn but decided we see enough live soccer during the season and it's an NFL weekend so going to keep it as that.

Yes. What they have planned looks pretty similar to what they did on Regent Street. Bills should be on the East side.

TV Broadcast Maps and Schedule - NFL Week 3 2023 (September 24)

Brillo?! That’s a new one on me! 🤣 I’d probably use “tele” instead of “TV”. Of course, there’s a lot of regional language differences within the UK as well. Even with it being so small. -

Fixtures tend to be a collective of games. A bit like you guys would call a “schedule”. Can be used for a single game though. The English language for you! Fixtures as in they’ve been set. A “match” might be more a appropriate word. -

I reckon the soccer game Sky are showing will be more high scoring than Pats v Jets. -
Anyone with kids coming to the game might like this the day before - https://batterseapowerstation.co.uk/events/nfl-experience-london/?_its=JTdCJTIydmlkJTIyJTNBJTIyZjJmYTMxNzktNWYwZi00OTViLWExODctMGEwZjdjMjdhMjlmJTIyJTJDJTIyc3RhdGUlMjIlM0ElMjJybHR%2BMTY5NTIyNzY2M35sYW5kfjJfMTAwMzE5X3Nlb182OTU0YzRlMzM1MTRjOTUxOWM5OWQ2NzFmZjRkODVkNyUyMiUyQyUyMnNpdGVJZCUyMiUzQTE3MTU2JTdE

TV Broadcast Maps and Schedule - NFL Week 3 2023 (September 24)
BritBill replied to chongli's topic in The Stadium Wall
Re the Sunday “early game” on Sky in the UK. It’ll be shown from the start on Sky Sports NFL but from 7pm on Sky Sports Main Event. Main Event is a pointless channel as all it shows is one live event which is being shown on one of the other Sky Sports channels. You get Main Event “free” if you subscribe to all the other Sky Sports channels. So, it’s showing the soccer first and switches to the NFL game once the soccer has finished. With Sky Sports NFL currently being a dedicated NFL channel all the chosen live games are shown in their entirety on there. Just in case anyone was wondering why Sky would show a live game but miss the first hour. -
Plenty of tickets floating about over here if you do need one.

What examples do you have to form that opinion?

https://www.eticketing.co.uk/nfl-tottenham They’ve been going on around midday the last few days apparently. Never too soon for a joke. Allen treated us a performance of one Monday night.

Game tickets have been coming available on Ticketmaster a fair bit over the last few days. Also, loads keep being made available on the Facebook sales group I mentioned earlier in the thread.

If they were going to lose a game, this was the one they wouldn't have seen it as a sporting disaster.
