What does Allen work on this summer?
HamptonBillsfan replied to Meatloaf63's topic in The Stadium Wall
Not much, but Palmer seems to improve Josh's mental approach to mechanics and game strategies. He's like a positive thinking psychological guide. What a great relationship for the franchise. -
Calvin Ridley...do they bills go all in!?
HamptonBillsfan replied to Hebert19's topic in The Stadium Wall
Exactly, O-line, CB, RB in that order. Morse is probably gone and quality depth at O-line to protect the franchise is in order. -
Overvalued players that are effective against average offenses but cannot impose their will on top QB driven teams are the culprits. Our edge rushers are pedestrian and get no pressure in rush 4 scenarios. The corners lack depth and when White goes down, they're only average. The LBs are good but they are not involved in pressure packages enough to wreck a game, like Tampa,SF, NE. With Josh most games we'll have enough offense to overcome any deficiencies, but against teams we must beat later in the playoffs, game changing plays on defense will be necessary.

Isaiah McKenzie aka, Lil Dirty, sounds like he’s moving on
HamptonBillsfan replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
The Kupp was merely that they were both dependable slot receivers. Obviously this year Kupp became #1 and had an MVP type season. I got inundated with Beasley haters after the comp. If you want a guy like Godwin, you're in a different stratosphere money wise. Williams will not be available. Trust and toughness along with availability means a lot more than age to winning football teams. Ask Rogers above demanding Cobb back,or Woods in LA. -

Just comparing the Kupp before this year. My sincere apologies. -

He's not Kupp, great. I made the comparison because before he was a #1 receiver with Woods out and before Beckam came on, he was a clutch inside receiver, who got a lot of 1st down receptions. No he's a #1 receiver and had an all time MVP season. Before he had that great season, he was an Edelman, Welker, Beasley type slot receiver. Thanks. -

Forgetting the Kupp comparison, does it make you feel better denigrating a 10 year vet, who has produced and played hurt for our team and has helped make us one of the best teams in football. I guess your job as a personnel expert is to make personnel decisions. Perhaps you think Beane should have cut him after most of the contract had been paid. -

He's just a guy. He had just under 1000 yds last year for a Division winner who went to the AFC championship. His career #s are similar to Kupps prior to this year. Kupp had a good year when they went to the SB, but otherwise similar. -

I used Kupp as an example because he's a great inside receiver. He had a career, MVP type season and he is 4 years younger than Cole. His #s before this year were similar to Cole's. Remember, Woods went down and Beckam came in later and Kupp was targeted 15 times a game. -

Why do Beasley haters think they can replace good players, who work well with Josh, with any cheap FA or 3rd day draft choices. Kupp had a career year, especially after Woods went down and before Beckham came in. He's 5 years younger than Cole, but before this year they were similar. Without McKenzie, Beasley is the best option. -

Absolutely,Sanders is gone and a FA or draft choice would replace him. Inside, slot receiver who Josh loves and trusts is a different matter. Kupp had a career year with Stafford, but Beasley was the comp before this year. He's not Kupp, but he's solid, plays hurt and produces. -

Stop what, who's your replacement as an inside receiver for 75 receptions and a 1st down machine if McKenzie moves on. -
He disappears from time to time, but he's taken strides. He took coverage away from Davis and is going to be a great weapon going forward. It was a great season for Knox.

Beasley must be retained, despite the detractors. He's clutch, tough as heck and talented. He is our Julian Edelman and Kupp. Now that the vaccine controversy is in the rear view, let's embrace Beasley. -
These threads are unbearable after losses
HamptonBillsfan replied to CorkScrewHill's topic in The Stadium Wall
Wait a minute, don't be thankful for mediocrity. We had a home championship game against a very beatable opponent in our grasp and poor coaching decisions snatched our 1st SB in almost 3 decades. My kids and my grandson are inconsolable. I put them into this meat grinder. Don't ask passionate fans who live and die with this team to be thankful for losing. -
Why All The Clean Releases For Kelce and Hill?
HamptonBillsfan replied to Bleedbuffaloblue's topic in The Stadium Wall
Had to be better than what we did. We gave Kelce a 30 yd reception with 10 seconds left. Horrific. -
Why All The Clean Releases For Kelce and Hill?
HamptonBillsfan replied to Bleedbuffaloblue's topic in The Stadium Wall
A true prevent would have been not allowing Kelce or Hill from getting off the line of scrimmage even if it meant tackling them. Also extra dbs could helped coverage schemes instead of rushing 4.Those plays take 5 seconds each and then its a Hail Mary. McD whiffed on the last 13 seconds and should own the loss. He's a defensive coach and had no answers for Mahomes the whole 4th qtr and OT. -
He's not going anywhere but he should take this crushing loss as something he could have avoided. His decisions were that of a coach who kept making the same mistakes, thinking the results would change. Kicking the ball into the end zone with 13 seconds, rushing 4, letting the KC's playmakers get free releases without bumping or holding them with 10 seconds left. Sean was clueless and can own this devastating loss after Josh saved us time after time. Shame on Sean. Bills fans will suffer for his egregious mistakes.

Why All The Clean Releases For Kelce and Hill?
HamptonBillsfan replied to Bleedbuffaloblue's topic in The Stadium Wall
Let me simplify this for you, the game was determined on decisions made after we lead with 13 seconds left and managed to lose. Situational football strategy called for a kick in the field of play to kill 3 to 5 seconds. Then, why rush 4 when you got no pressure the whole game. Then letting Kelce and Hill have free releaes without holding or tackling them is mind blowing with 10 seconds left. Coaching cost us the game. As a fan please don't dismiss this fact. Aren't you sick of this crap. -
Why All The Clean Releases For Kelce and Hill?
HamptonBillsfan replied to Bleedbuffaloblue's topic in The Stadium Wall
Why, because Sean and Frazier are from the bend don't break school of losing football. He could have won this game and he will never regain the respect from knowledgeable fans until he wins. Josh left his guts on that field and handed these timid coaches this win and their mind-numbing decisions prevented a home championship game and a SB appearance.
