  1. Exactly my point. Edmunds gets roasted by this board because of all the team's shortcomings. He's not that bad.
  2. Your just looking to assign blame for a defense that hasn't been good against top competition all year. We gave up big yardage rushing against Tennessee, Indy(without Edmunds),NE and Tampa, losing all four. We need Edmunds to play better, but if our front doesn't even get near the QB and we keep giving up long touchdown runs, don't expect one guy to save the day. We can't protect our QB and can't run the ball. There's a lot of blame to go around.
  3. Anyone consider before destroying Edmunds that he maybe playing in the wrong scheme or not being coached well enough to perform in our current defense. While everyone admits Star, Epenesa, Hughes and Rousseau have been either underachieving or unavailable, that leaves incredible pressure and responsibility on Edmunds. If you believe a defense functions as a cohesive unit to be successful, how can we dump all of the blame on the inefficient defense on Edmunds. No pressure from front four, no tackles for losses by front four and safeties and dbs out of position on long runs. Edmunds was out of position and reacted slowly on plays in the 1st half, no question, but exonerating the DC and the rest of our defense is silly. You get speed, tackling with physicality and length with Edmunds. It behooves these defensive coaches to put him in the best scheme and gameplan to succeed.
  4. That's the reason to change offensive philosophy in the red zone. Dabol and Josh are connected but we can't fritter away seasons having Josh's versatility and incredible talents wasted with predictable ,low percentage plays. Devoid of a run blocking line and dependable short yardage back, how hard are we to defend in a compressed area. Coordinator changes and better suited personnel for red zone scoring should be a priority in the offseason.
  5. Star is back? Star played in 5 games. Star is recovering from Covid. Star suited up for NE and stunk up the field. His best season, I don’t think so. Oliver's been our best lineman.
  6. That was a solid take. Believe this, that game, was exhibit one. for the case of Josh Allen being the toughest and most talented QB in football for the next decade. He overcame a clueless game plan, extreme hometown officiating and unmerciful punishment and injuries at the hands of a ferocious front seven that could pin their ears back knowing we weren't ever running the ball, to lead us to a win from 21 down if the game was refereed correctly.
  7. This team is on the precipice of becoming the team that wins out and storms into the playoffs as a live contender for the SB, or total extinction. Josh will play hurt and lead us as he did in the 2nd half yesterday. He is the ultimate gamer and as long as there's no fractures or a high ankle sprain, he will shrug off turf toe and play through it.
  8. He may have worn out his welcome with our fan base. Probably best to get a fresh start elsewhere. Rest assured, he'll get a big contract offers from multiple teams.
  9. You actually think we could ever get a call to determine the outcome of a game against Brady on the road. That ref just stared at Diggs getting interfered with and did nothing.
  10. I am a staunch Edmunds supporter, but he had a tough game. He just got caught out of position and before his speed gets him near the ball carrier, It's a 1st down or a big play. He makes a lot of tackles but he got blocked consistently on blitzes and underneath passes. I guess his price tag might warrant resigning. These next 4 games and postseason hopefully changes people's minds.
  11. You can’t blame the refs, but what a way to get your season back on the right track. I was questioning the coaches, player's resolve and our viability as a SB contender. This team showed character and pride . Josh is as tough and determined as any QB in my NFL memory. His talent is so magical, the future is as bright for us as any franchise. Just surround him with a foundational O-line and a good back and watch him compete for championships every year. Our defense after a few adjustments and a tongue lashing, showed their mettle. All in all, this game is something we can benefit from in defeat.
  12. It's coaching out of fear and showing the O-lineman you have no confidence in their ability. I agree they haven't been running successfully but Tampa's pinning their ears back and swarming Josh on every play. You gotta keep em honest, dya
  13. Why would any team have a game plan that doesn't include runs by RBs. Sean looks over his head with the defensive game plan and preparing this team to physically impose themselves. This is embarrassing and demoralizing.
  14. They might be a playoff team, but they are soft on offense, with 0 running game and enough pass protection to get our franchise QB hurt or gun shy from getting overwhelmed. Our defense is OK, but against teams with good O-lineman, we are vulnerable.
  15. Being pushed around and dominated on both sides of the ball. Beane should be given one off season to fix this team. We need more physicality and leadership. I'm sorry, this team as constructed, can't go anywhere.
  16. Where's the pride, urgency and coaching with our O-line. They are Swiss cheese.
  17. Bills should have scored at least a FG on the long drives in the 4th qtr. I'm sick of clueless. penalties in the red zone. This is coaching 101. No false starts in the red zone.
  18. This team is good enough to win doing what they're doing. If the strategy in the red zone improves and we can score a few more TDs instead of FGs. Running the backs between the tackles either loses yardage or gets stuffed. How about getting Josh out on the edges to either run or pass.
  19. Beane did a bad job with our roster this season. I'm sorry, but this is essentially the same team that was humiliated by KC in January, save a couple of rookie lineman we drafted. It was poor talent evaluation and an emphasis on resigning expiring contract players. Star,Hughes, Addison have been pedestrian at best on defense. The O-line has been ordinary and that is not maximizing our greatest asset, Josh. TE ,RB should have been upgraded for depth if nothing else. We went from SB contender to ? to make the playoffs. Beane should get another offseason to improve but progress must be clear for this great fanbase to have faith in our braintrust going forward.
  20. Get this guy out of our sight. What a monstrous disappointment. Signs a contract and plays 5 games in 2 years. Eats cap space, bad teammate, and prevented an acquisition that could have helped run defense. This epic failure is a bad reflection on Beane and Sean.
  21. If I don't see a good win against a playoff team before the final 3 cupcakes, I can't take this team seriously. They have regressed to this point and coaches, front office and players are guilty of swallowing the hype offered up by NFL experts about being a SB lock. This underachieving team must show some pride and fight so fans can believe.
  22. The Judon hit where he flattens him falling on top with his full weight, always gets called for veteran QBs. These refs are so unpredictable and many would say, vindictive (Tony Corrente) Why not complain, it can't hurt.
  23. His ability to escape pressure, not just move in the pocket like Brady and Mahomes, but run towards the sidelines and become even more dangerous (especially to the right) allows him to hold the ball and let receivers get open. As he gets older and the O-line improves, he will become more like the classic great pocket passers. The O-line holds the key to getting where we want go. The roster could use minor tweaking but Beane knows what the weak link is.
