It's not just me, how about thinking of great fans that would love to be there but because of age or health problems, wouldn't chance it. 4 or 5 hours in sub zero wind chills and snow, would you want your grandparents or your kids, under 10 shivering in their boots.

How about fans in single digits with wind chills sub zero. When looking at new stadiums, a dome is the way to go.

Tell me purist, open-air stadium fans, how does this scheduling a playoff game in bone chilling cold with snow, enhance a fan's experience and help our team's chances. What should be a tremendous home field advantage and a memorable family event, is now a fight to survive conditions that could threaten your health. The national audience will love watching this spectacle from the comfort of their homes, but the hearty souls in attendance will experience cruel and unusual punishment. ⁰

Another shock value, inflammatory thread from Beasley detractors. McKenzie, who had one big receiving game in his life,is the guy who must replace Beasley immediately. With Davis dinged up and Josh throwing balls through a wind tunnel like Nolan Ryan, it's time for McKenzie?. Hyde, who is the most surehanded returner, wouldn't even chance catching a punt in these conditions. Beasley can't catch a break from this board after his anti-vax statements. Thankfully the s Stadium Wall does not make personnel decisions.

If the Bills re-sign Edmunds, they're stupid.

Why is this thread still flopping around this board. Hasn't this embarrassing, shock value idea had it's 10 minutes in the public space. The Mods must be desperate for content. Edmunds is crucial to anything we do. The defense has been dominant since Tampa 1st half. These one dimensional criticisms compromise this board's credibility. Just look at our record, the defenses stats and his stats. Shake it up and factor in he plays every down and he's always available besides his teammates love him. Enough of this foolishness. -

Have you ever gone to a game in a dome? Bills fans would blow the roof off. The noise would be impossible for a road team to deal with. -
Looks like your right this year. No excuse for that Houston blowout.
-
That's for sure. Chargers are scary.

For all you obsessed Edmunds haters, the guy is in the middle of a great defense. He calls the signals, routinely leads the team in tackles and has incredible speed and length. Some of the experts on this board would prefer A.J. Klein in the middle. He will be a Bill for at least his next contract. Sorry. -

Why so territorial? How do you know these poor timid souls wouldn't love to go to a game in Dec,or Jan in perfect conditions? These people who haven't gone as yet, still pay taxes earmarked for the new stadium. -

Understood, but couldn't the same be said for the games here in January if there's a lake effect snowstorm. I have lived in Arizona, and most games from October's on are just fine. Same situation in LA and Vegas. -

Why are the state of the art stadiums, that are all in warm weather sights(LA, Vegas,) all domes. Why not us? The perfect conditions are conducive to our wide open, vertical passing offense, with one of the top 2 or 3 QBs in football. -

I guess that's why their selling tickets to the final home game, where the division is at stake, for $8.00. I get it, you're a purist, but a dome is perfect to create a home field advantage like no other. Look at how they rock New Orleans, Vegas and LA. Buffalo, with lake effect snow and wind conditions, is not ideal for the entertainment value of January football. -
Re-thinking the hiring of color commentators

I moved to WH 15 years ago after 20 years in Westchester. Love it out here. -
Re-thinking the hiring of color commentators

Either way, it's good talking about the old AFL. My entire neighborhood were die hard Giants fans. Watching Jets, Bills, Dolphins,Chiefs Chargers were these wide open, high scoring memorable jewels. Gowdy, Charlie, Enberg and Criquie delivered these gems to a kid who lived and died with the Bills. West Hampton -

Charlie did some memorable Bills games. He was NBCs 2nd crew behind Gowdy and Christman. Wasn't Charlie play by play? Loved his voice. Do you remember John Brody. He was solid. -

Loved Madden, but you're probably too young to remember Paul Christman and Paul McGuire. They were really good. -

I guess, being the outdoorsman survivalist type of guy, you enjoy single digit temps with 40mph gusts . Those of us with a preference for more moderate conditions, might opt in favor of watching from home. BTW, woman and kids usually favor perfect conditions. -
Referee Tony Corrente corrupt as *****!!!
HamptonBillsfan replied to Bubba Gump's topic in The Stadium Wall
This corrupt 70 year old jerk has used the NFL games as his personal vehicle to exact revenge on his critics. The union has insulated this menace from suspension or forced retirement. If anything can turn NFL obsessed viewers away from the game, it's power hungry officials that change outcomes because of vendettas against a player. -
Re-thinking the hiring of color commentators
HamptonBillsfan replied to Miyagi-Do Karate's topic in The Stadium Wall
Not saying these color guys appeal to everybody, but the game is such an incredible TV friendly product, coupled with a conduit for gambling activities, that it just doesn't matter unless someone alienates a portion of the market with some inflammatory comments. -
Re-thinking the hiring of color commentators
HamptonBillsfan replied to Miyagi-Do Karate's topic in The Stadium Wall
Football's ratings are through the roof. They dwarf any other sport or entertainment content. The color guys are former players and coaches for a good reason. They provide on field experience that viewers enjoy. The networks, who pay a fortune for the rights, have a time tested formula for picking analysts. Don't try to reinvent the wheel. -

HamptonBillsfan replied to T master's topic in The Stadium Wall
Considering it took 50 big ones to get a new stadium, the difference is not enough to be a deal breaker. I can't believe that between local Canadian corporate interests and other cities in NY state, Suites wouldn't be desirable if the Bills dominated the AFC. -

I stand corrected, how about something like those.
