Have you tried bringing the armchair out to the yard? (Sorry Italian Bills... I couldn't resist that one!)

Pretty simple really... NI Bills Fan, as in Northern Ireland Bills Fan. Born and raised in Northern Ireland and became hooked on the Bills in 1990 when I was 11 years of age. Much in part due to playing John Madden on the Sega Megadrive console and the NFL was well covered at the time in the UK on Channel 4. I didn't join this board until a few years ago and would just like to thank you all... My fandom, enjoyment and knowledge of the game has increased since reading all you guys argue, sorry converse about this great sport. 😉😅

What a superb victory. Take a bow Josh Allen, Von Miller, Stefon Diggs, Devin Singletary and Taron Johnson. Top of the conference standings Tiebreakers over the Chiefs, Ravens and Titans Beat the Chiefs 2 out the last 3 matchups (all on the road) Won 2 one score games in a row to kill that daft narrative. They'll enjoy that bye week. Bring on a poor looking Packers at home. Go Bills!

GMFB Is Better Without Kay Adams
NI Bills Fan replied to ProcessAccepted's topic in The Stadium Wall
The new GMFB crew, including Jamie took a while to gel for me, which was understandable given the limited amount of content they had to work with in the offseason. 3 hours or whatever it is is hard to fill without having games to review or build up to. I found myself watching only snippets of shows. The show, and the crew, have improved since the season started now that they have some actual games to talk about. Doesn't hurt that the Bills get a fair bit of coverage these days too! Jamie does seem to have some good knowledge and is more than just a host that directs the conversation. -
Maybe so, I was wondering was there a rule I wasn't aware of that prevented them using the center. Plus a couple of the TE's snaps were so poor (high) I thought they would have tried another option. Back to your thought, and I'm coming at this from a perspective of someone who has only snapped a ball in my back garden to an 8 year old! ... is long snapping so very different than what a center does on offence? (serious question)
-
Please excuse the novice question here, but this puzzled me last night during the Steelers vs Bengals game: I know the Bengals long snapper was injured and they used (I think) a TE to snap for the field goals, which didn't go so well and negatively impacted the kicking operation. So, my question is, why did they not just use their Center to snap on special teams instead of the TE? Surely that would have been a better option? Thanks in advance. 👍

I can't believe we've reached almost 3 pages and nobody has suggested paring him with Ed Oliver as the opposite DE as yet! We'd be unstoppable then! ...(runs for cover!)

Thanks for posting all the updates guys. Much appreciated. Seems like a great night in OP... and it sounds like no injuries as far as I can tell. Go Bills! That '13 Seconds' jersey? Disgusting... can't get my head around that one at all. I can't even watch it never mind wear it.

The Locked on Bills (with Joe Marino) podcast tomorrow is on the topic of Tremaine Edmunds. I'm guessing it will be similar to the Levi Wallace episode this time last year where he tries to provide a balanced view (backed up by stats etc.) of a player that divides opinion among Bills fans in the hope of highlighting how important/effective a player he is to the team. I'd say it will be worth a listen and may (or may not!) spark some interesting conversation on this thread.

If I'd have known this is what they meant by a 'receiving' back I'd have stayed in Miami!

"That's great Duke... now lets try a few reps with the fist removed"

I know i love all things Bills. I know I love this message board. I'm also aware its the offseason... ... but why I read this entire thread start to finish will be a head scratcher for evermore!

Rousseau and Basham at the Von Miller Pass Rush Academy
NI Bills Fan replied to HappyDays's topic in The Stadium Wall
Great to see our young pass rushers making the most of every learning opportunity they can get. With that said though... Hopefully Miller is reserving the really insightful knowledge for Bills only training sessions... keep the rest of the NFL in the dark and unleash unseen hell when it matters. -

Is Calvin Austin still available? Or have I missed him being picked Edit: I see he is... thanks Gunner. -
We have 6 picks, but how many players do you think we end up actually picking on day 3 (excluding UDFAs) after potential trade ups? Could it be as low as 3? Given the strength of this roster its hard to see many late round picks having a realistic chance of sticking.

Looking forward to tonight... plenty of picks, plenty of talent still available, likely trade ups. Shame there is no 4th round pick but maybe Beane fixes that early. Punter is a need but after Beane's press conference I would be surprised if that doesn't come via UDFA. Biggest box to check for me is a capable and reliable returner. Im sure there will be some OL taken too...cant imagine a draft without 1 or 2 of those. Hopefuly round 4 is QB heavy which will help us. EDIT: after rechecking, more QBs went last night than i had originally thought so scratch that!
