Bills cuts to get to 53 [final info in the OP]
NI Bills Fan replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yes... until I read this thread. Now I'd be expecting Ertz, a 2nd and next years 1st as well. -

Backup LB Appreciation Thread 🏈
NI Bills Fan replied to TheyCallMeAndy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I agree with your points OP and the team will be better for better depth at linebacker. However what this LB room REALLY needs is a leap forward from Tremaine Edmunds and a season long healthy Milano. Then we will really be cookin'. -
Good news... he looks to have some ability. Bad news... McKenzie injury may be bad.

Tell Me About Average Bills Fans

It's a similar story with the Bills and Rovers for me funny enough. The sporting gods would never let us have 2 successful and well run teams to enjoy. 😀 -

Thanks Gunner. I've seen you mention North London in a post or 2, can I assume the Gunner part of the name is an Arsenal reference? I'm a Blackburn Rovers fan myself... nothing but misery these days. -
Tell Me About Average Bills Fans

This thread has been a good read. Whilst I live quite a distance away (Northern Ireland) and cant attend games etc in person (but plan to attend many in future years), I'm not sure I could be much more of a fan. The Bills consume my thoughts all day every day. I spend countless hours on this excellent online community, news websites, daily podcasts (shout out to the excellent Joe Marino), online video content etc. That's every day during the season and in the off season. I wear Bills gear all the time, but have to constantly explain to people what it is! (Instead of getting a 'Go Bills' as I walk by ... that would be great). I couldnt fathom missing any portion of a live game. It's happened a few times and the panic it conjures in me surprises me everytime... if it is the fault of my wife it takes all that I have to remain a gentleman! A fine example of being Bills obsessed occurred this morning... today is the first day of attending a new school for my 11 year old daughter. As she was leaving the house I looked at her and said... "The one thing I want you to do today is go in there and be the best version of yourself" ! I'm surprised I didnt clap over enthusiastically as she walked up the road! I started supporting the Bills in 1990. Playing John Madden 90 is the reason for that... using Thurman Thomas and Bruce Smith was essentially cheating! I'm 42 now and seriously looking at planning my later years around being able to attend plenty of games. Lastly... a massive thank you to the guys that keep this message board alive and to the key contributors such as YOLO... fans like me who live elsewhere feel much closer to the action because of it. Go Bills. Let's win the whole thing this year. -
Should Bills trade Daboll while he is “hot”?!?!
NI Bills Fan replied to TH3's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Certainly worth considering if we could get a retractable roof in exchange. (yes... sarcasm) -
Training camp media and practice 8/22

Hopefully we hear more on the Harry injury today, I think/hope that the MLJ tweet was based off misunderstanding exactly what McDermott meant when delivering his injury update. ...and on the Diggs / McKenzie footage... that's not even a talking point for me. Diggs made a catch, is amped up to be back and more involved after a break, saw his buddy and give him a 'Let's Go!". No problems there as far as I can see. I've never trained football ... but have trained/played plenty of soccer and that's the sort of stuff that goes on all the time, between the very best of friends. In fact I think you need to be very comfortable in your relationship with your teammate to be doing that. All good. Expecting big things from McKenzie this year, but please field those punts cleanly. -

I agree on the Philips point and would really love to see him improve and contribute significantly this season. I know there is something like a $3.3m cap saving if we cut Butler, but is there any dead cap implications (or other negatives) involved with cutting him? if not, and if Zimmer keeps improving, then I would be in favour of cutting Butler. -
Couldn't agree more... I say it each year but it's worth saying again how much I appreciate the work you, and others, do YOLO in compiling all of this great content in one thread. I don't use Twitter or Facebook so this is gold for me. 🍺

Share Your Random Acts of "Go Bills!"
NI Bills Fan replied to HardyBoy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Living in Northern Ireland i never get to deliver, or receive a Go Bills. I do dream of such a day though! Strangely though, a couple of weeks ago I came out of a shop and got into my car and noticed a guy in a blue shirt with a 14 on it, he had a jacket on over it so it was hard to tell exactly, but I'm fairly certain it would have had a 'REICH' on the back. He probably wondered what the hell I was staring at from my car as he walked past. If I'd have left that shop a few seconds later I would have given him a Go Bills as a tester. Anyway ... Go Bills! -
I tried to put this in an Ertz specific thread but see it was locked. Nothing major... just more chatter from the Eagles side... https://www.syracuse.com/buffalo-bills/2021/06/bills-close-to-a-deal-for-zach-ertz-says-eagles-play-by-play-man.html

Hope: Marquez Stevenson makes an impact by being a dynamic kick/punt returner and Brieda gives us something as a speedy back. Think: Efe Obada will surprise a lot of people and despite the crowded DE room he will make a significant contribution to this defence. If all 3 of those guys come good that'll be a nice boost on all 3 phases.

Great thread to read guys... I visited Buffallo in the early 90s when I was 12 or 13... too young to sample and appreciate all of the delights discussed here. I'll be back in the not too distant future though all being well and will do as much as I can. I'm one of those really annoying people that can eat whatever they want, and however much they want, and never put a pound on... so I'm made for this! 😂

I do the even volume thing too ... but over the past couple of years I've started to allow exceptions for 17 and 27, due to the form of Josh and Tre. Seems like utter madness as I type it, but seems perfectly logical in the car. 😀

Rousseau To be on GMFB (shortly - May 6)
NI Bills Fan replied to SlimShady'sSpaceForce's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yes, they really do go off on some very strange tangents to fill time in the absence of actual football to talk about. They could condense the show into an hour in the offseason and do a better job. Mind you I still watch a fair bit of it! 😃 -
I havent read all of this thread... so apologies if I'm just repeating someone else's point... I sleep well at night in the knowledge that Beane knows EXACTLY what this team team needs to match/defeat the chiefs and other top/emerging AFC teams and will do everything under his control to address those needs. So... yes he is painfully aware that Wallace/Jackson isnt the answer at CB2 and that will most definitely be address in FA before week 1.

McShay- Bills trying to move up above 23 for Etienne
NI Bills Fan replied to Reed83HOF's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It'll help him get the ball back in his hands quicker. We can draft extra weapons for Josh later in the draft. Premium starting talent at CB and DE might be gone by late first round. -

All for trading up... but not for Etienne. One of the top CBs or DEs I could see the justification in moving up for.- 413 replies

As we get more of an idea of the first 20 or so players to come off the board, I think a trade up just a few spots would be worth it. The quality of remaining Edge or CB at say 25 compared with 30 could be telling.
