  1. Did the Steelers and Dolphins GMs go out drinking together all day yesterday and come up with these trades?
  2. Born and bred in Northern Ireland. 25 minutes outside Belfast. Lived in the same town for my 46 years apart from a few years in Edinburgh (University, or College in US speak 🙂) How is it? A much better place to live in now compared with the 70s to mid late 90s, during the sectarian conflicts. The weather sucks though! We don't have the harsh winters like in Buffalo but we rarely get any prolonged good dry sunny weather. Even a short hop across the pond to southern England seems to be much better weather wise.
  3. Agreed Mr WEO, but I only live an hour from Dublin, so I'm very familiar with the place. I do treasure my 1pm Sunday kickoffs (6pm for me) and we don't have too many this year. But hopefully I'll get to watch it with a pint of Guinness somewhere after the Steelers game. Albeit i might miss the first quarter.
  4. Hi all, My friend got 2 tickets for the Vikings v Steelers game in Dublin. I really don't like missing Bills games on TV so needed a bit of convincing to go! Just wondering if any board members are going and also does anybody know of any Bills backers bars in Dublin that might be showing our game agains the Saints? Thanks.
  5. Unless we know the 40 time and the 3 cone time for these trains it's not even worth trying to calculate.
  6. And by the same logic our QB could be Josh Rosen.
  7. Whilst it's true that Marino has less time to spend watching college tape now that he is focussed mainly on the Bills and the NFL, he does still do all his own work with regards watching the tape and evaluating college prospects It's just that now he only has time to study a smaller number of prospects compared with previous years when he was almost fully focused on college football and the draft. He's still a good listen leading up to the draft imo.
  8. So is Deone Walker!
  9. It's fine, he had his round card AND the playbook in his back pockets.
  10. Could Jameson Williams be another that excelled after major injury (torn ACL) prior to the draft?
  11. Then Zach Ertz cut the ribbon. It was emotional.
  12. I'm not so sure... I think the order of need is CB-DT-DE-WR
  13. If the player can produce a note from his mum confirming a runny nose then the official can pick up the flag. (NFL Rule Book Section 8.4 Sub-Section F)
  14. Exactly. Jordan Phillips tried it once and look how that turned out.
  15. Ok insurance policy... Hoping for better in the draft.
  16. I didn't want him back at the cost most people were expecting a couple of months ago, but as these free agency days go on that cost reduces fairly significantly. I'd be open to taking him back at a very low cost if he would accept that. Good locker room guy and would add something to the WR room at a low cost, if not the game changer we hoped he would be last season.
  17. They could put him on the Asenepe plan. (Epenesa backwards!)
  18. I'm sure this has been asked previously in the thread but haven't seen it in the last couple of pages... Is this guy more of a free safety or strong safety? Thanks
  19. ... but if you could stand back there for like another 1.8 seconds we would really appreciate it!
  20. Thanks for posting. I think this is what was expected... Which is better than the disappointment this time last year.
  21. Indeed. The one left 'available' i meant. Albeit still in contract.
  22. That leaves Hendrickson as the big ticket DE left. Beat me to it!
  23. Damn. I would have liked Sweat. Seems like decent value too.
  24. The cost seems high, but let's see the actually contract details before going mad.. not just the first reported numbers. After hearing Joe Marino rave about Palmer recently I'm excited to see what he can do in this offence.
