Rd 5, Pick 168: Edge Javon Solomon, Troy
Warcodered replied to section122's topic in The Stadium Wall
Seem to have changed philosophy on our O-line somewhat, before all our guys could play everywhere, now it seems like they're planning on starters that are real good at one spot but not anywhere else, while the depth guys are the multirole guys or at least we still have some left. -

Tim Graham article on Kim Pegula and Bills ownership
Warcodered replied to Buffalo_Stampede's topic in The Stadium Wall
Sounds like Tim Graham threw around a lot of hypotheticals for a story making a soap opera out of a real family's lives. Could something be going on, sure, do we know, absolutely not. With Kim incapacitated somebody next in line needed to be in place, but it's not like we actually knew who that was going to be, Jessica made sense but she is actively a Pro Tennis player. -

Josh Working With WR’s Beyond OTAs/Camp
Warcodered replied to Warriorspikes51's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yeah in one of the threads at some point someone posted a pic of him from when he was working out or something, whether he eats a lot of junk or not I think it was safe to say his body is at an efficient input and output ratio. -
Jacksonville releases Zay Jones. Homecoming?

This isn't the Kelvin Benjamin thread I was expecting. -
Josh Working With WR’s Beyond OTAs/Camp

Where this question comes from is even better. -
That can't possibly be right Josh only golfs until training camp. 🤔

Yeah of course Josh backed a guy who had by all means been a solid QB coach for him, you should take Josh's opinion there seriously because if he has a problem that'd be kind of a huge red flag. Josh had also had what a High School coach, JC coach, Wyoming Coach, and Daboll in terms of his experience of OCs. I'd take his opinion more seriously now after having experienced Dorsey. Just have to say laying the blame of the OC pick of Dorsey on Josh just seems like such well in hindsight that was a terrible decision how could you ever have thought that was a good idea. Completely ignoring the fact that everyone thought it was a good idea.

Jacksonville releases Zay Jones. Homecoming?
Warcodered replied to Roundybout's topic in The Stadium Wall
I remember when he was working out a lot and we thought him and Foster were going to be even better in year 2 with Josh with the additions of Beasley and Smoke. Don't think they made it through the year. Interesting enough Lil Dirty out lasted all 4 of them. -
That's why the OP spelled it Colemen and not Coleman.

Really that's what it has to be, it couldn't be that through the process Beane has interacted with him and knowing the Bills fanbase is a little excited for them get to know a guy he knows they'll enjoy. Or hell it could even be that Beane getting a bunch of stupid ***** for the pick but he knows that when people listen to the guy they're going to really like the guy. But no it has to be some sort of conspiracy against the team and city because that makes more sense. 😭

He's probably good for the pregame and halftime shows, but he's got to leave before the postgame show.

Fun game to play is see if you can't count the number of Bills player in that clip. I've said it before guy needs to invest in a jugs machine, also it's year 3, so it really behooves him to get it figured out. RBs don't make sense to get 2nd contracts usually but if it's one that also functions as a major part of the passing game that's different. I think I remember his press conference maybe him saying that he feels healthier than he's been in a long time. Obviously take it with a grain of salt from the player but that'd definitely be something I'd like to see, it's sad when things like that get in the way of a player even more when you can see he's got some talent. They're no Duke Williams though.

So in this hypothetical situation you're a WR who is heavily dependent on who is throwing you the ball. So in the draft process you eliminate the possibility of going to a team with one of the best passers in the league because it's cold and snowy there. Despite the fact that on your rookie deal how you perform will decide your NFL fate.

Fact vs Fiction: "Keon Coleman is not a separator"
Warcodered replied to ShakAttack's topic in The Stadium Wall
The RB they picked up looks like a great addition, and not for nothing but this will be year 3 for Cook who if he manages to step up his receiving game more would be the kind of RB you sign to a second deal, but either way it's good to not forget that decision is down the road. Saw a clip of him on plays as a blocker, DBs may have had to seek trauma counseling. -
The kid is a physical freak, has a great mindset, catches the ball, and is only 20 so of course guys are like "yeah you can get something out of him."
-
Yeah as much as there was a part of me that would have liked it if we drafted a 2nd WR in the draft, in the back of my mind I was thinking if we do that there's going to be this group of haters that are going to like a WR we drafted multiple rounds later than him just automatically. Wouldn't have been awkward at all.

I miss the old days when it was driven by..........camouflage?

Being under contract has never stopped a guy from retiring, also didn't we just draft a safety who one of his pluses was covering TEs?
