At TE3 you need someone that can fill in, Morris can cover for the blocking part and is passible enough to cover for the passing game without it completely disappearing.
Between Quitin Morris and Reggie Gilliam we're set at TE3, Morris has played at that level, he hasn't played at TE2 level consistently that's where the hole was at.
