  1. The offense was actually okay in the game, they moved the ball essentially the whole game, but couldn't punch it in in the first half and the wind stole the ball on one of the FG attempts in the first half. The defense stayed in Buffalo, the Patriots punted twice and the only highlight from them was the fumble. The combination of the defense not showing up and that freak early turnover put us in an early 10pt hole in a slow moving game. The offense did move the ball better and actually spread the ball around again. Still even if NE has still been decent in red zone defense this year, they're missing key guys and we've still got to punch it in better. Second half they picked up even more and started to punch it in. But until they could get that fumble we couldn't get the lead, and since they couldn't get a stop after that and we didn't have enough time to get the lead back here we are. With the offense I liked that they were getting everyone involved and spreading it out more. The O-line was a rollercoaster at times they were good at other times they were terrible and Josh had to get into his bag of tricks. Not sure what's going wrong there it was just very inconsistent this game. D-line, I don't know maybe without Ed and Jones it was just much easier to come up with blocking schemes to take out our edge rushers too but no one did a damn thing. Didn't pay enough attention to Dorian Willams, I thought I saw him make a few plays at some point but I also know he got pulled so make of that what you will. If I had to guess why the Pats did so well passing the ball in this game it'd have to do with Mac being able to either have a tea party in the pocket or just dump it off against a blitz. Overall half the team played alright while the Patriots played a decent game and took advantage of our mistakes and that will win you a football game, and for people that think Allen was disinterested we still should have won somehow because of leading that offense down the field quick twice at the end of the game. Like WTF are we talking about.
  2. We honestly probably should have known have the game was going to end after that kick, I mean that was most ridiculous yeating of a ball by a wind gust I've ever seen.
  3. In an alternate timeline where they show a clip of him yelling or trying to get teammates fired up on the sidelines this tread still exists only it's titled "Josh Allen terrible leader yells at teammates during loss."
  4. Von Miller brought toast to the game, that's nice at least he did something.
  5. Allen: Screw it I'll play Nose Tackle too.
  6. Seriously? That seems like a massive indictment of Dorsey right there, how is the first read never open?
  7. They probably did, there's one on the stat sheet for the game which confused me until I figured out it was the end of the game play, which is kind of stupid, but whatever.
  8. I often think we should make Global Political and Wartime decisions in the same category as going for it on 4th and 2-3 yards, good as long as it works. 🤦‍♂️
  9. There's a world of difference between saying they were great and saying they weren't as bad as people are saying they were. I said they should be better, you need to score TDs in the redzone, though the immediate 10pt deficit definitely made that look worse, even if redzone defense is one of the only things the Patriots are still able to do. We made the Patriots punt 2 times today and the fumble, that's what the defense did today.
  10. They've got like two guys lined up behind him seemingly to eventually take over.
  11. TE3 he was invisible today, probably because he didn't play.
  12. Can he play RT or DT 1 technique or CB1?
  13. So I'm going to make this point again about the offense, it wasn't nearly as terrible today as everyone seems to be making it out to be. Just straight up 1 INT 1 Punt 1 Turnover on downs, also a fumble, but that was the stupid ass 5 second try and do something ridiculous, which apparently we have no actual game plan for. Hell you lop off our first play of the game and we only got stopped twice. Trouble was the Patriots kept us out of the endzone in the first half and we missed a pretty standard FG, weird miss too. Could and should the offense be better, yes, but it wasn't that bad today. Game wise, the Patriots just played a good game, I mean it sucks but our defense, wheeling out in full body cast though so are they, didn't get it done and they took advantage of the moments they needed to. Sure we kept them to a FG at the start, but they get 7 after that INT to jump to a 10pt lead in a very slow moving game.
  14. And then they quickly score and Allen and Diggs high five as they quickly run off the field without celebrating in the endzone like "Yeah we scored who cares we've got ***** do it again." Then proceed to do it again. Yeah I'm sure he's disinterested.
  15. A small consolation for me is the Patriots get a worse draft pick.
  16. They weren't punching it into the endzone in the first half, also instead of having 6 from the second FG the ball spontaneously became possessed and returned to it's own planet or something. Also checks notes the Patriots have the ranked 7th redzone defense....it's like the one thing they ***** do. The team did move the ball all game, a lot of the drives for both teams were long and for them to just end up with a FG attempt, didn't seem like the offenses were succeeding much but they still technically were.
  17. In that game we punted 1 time turned over the ball on downs 1 time and had 1 INT. The Patriots punted 2 times and had a fumble, we also technically had a fumble but I really don't care about a last 5 seconds YOLO play. Other than that we ended every drive kicking FGs or with TDs, and honestly while it might have been much we might have been in FG range on the turnover on downs.
  18. Seriously, if he has a wide open field and no one is a high percentage throw, take the yards. Why would we take that from him he can slide, and he's great at avoiding taking a big hit on the move.
  19. Can't say there haven't been times in previous games where the offense left the defense out to dry, but yeah seeing Allen and the Offense get those back to back TDs, which credit to the defense on the fumble, to get the lead only to watch the defense burn the rest of the game away and give up the TD. It was aggravating as hell.
  20. No not the one where the defender punched the ball out, the one before we took the lead.
  21. Allen and Mahomes didn't ever really run the same, I would love if they got Allen to run only at the times that Mahomes typically does. Allen could probably run a bit more than him but pulling back on that isn't the worst. Right now they've got Allen not really running at all, if he could find the balance of only running when the reward is clear and better than any risk he could take throwing, it'd be so good.
  22. Even in the first half they moved the ball and got into good FG range twice, struggled to punch it in, barring whatever the ***** happened to the ball on that one kick we would have had 6 pts at the half. I wouldn't doubt the Patriots are still somewhat competent in the redzone defense.
  23. It may be easier to come up with a blocking scheme when the interior of the D-line is sitting injured on the bench.
