  1. The two of them have been off all year just on different wavelengths.
  2. Yeah that was the Eagles, the defense only stopped them twice from the 2nd half on, the Eagles scored on 5/7 of their drives or like I said lopping off the first as we're including the OT drive and it's 5/6 like they didn't even bother to come back after halftime.
  3. and just 3 weeks earlier the Jets had gumbied Josh's arm and yet still felt comfortable going for it. Oh no we miss the kick and go to overtime like we did anyway or we don't get into range and it's 3rd down so we make sure to eat it since they don't have any timeouts and just run out the clock and go to overtime like we did anyway.
  4. It made perfect sense and if we're being honest here Josh has had how many offensive coordinators in his career and at what level of competence? There's the high school ones where he didn't even go to a school that'd get him seen by scouts a Junior College and then Wyoming. Here he's had Dabol who's seemed good with him and then we made the decision to stick with a system that worked and a guy who knew it and Allen with Dorsey. Josh was always going to want to make it work with him, but if nothing else Josh is getting some serious experience as to why Dorsey didn't work.
  5. No essentially an entire half going from the 2nd half on they scored on 5/7 drives. Hell since we're counting the one drive in OT if you lop off the first drive in the 2nd half it then becomes 5/6. You want to blame the offense for missing on some points which yeah that hurt, but the defense got on the plane early.
  6. To be fair to Bass he missed one long kick in poor conditions, it really ***** sucks and people are building a narrative against him, but that ***** happens, nothing he can do about a blocked kick.
  7. My point was nothing you said ***** mattered, you said would Mahomes have thrown a pick at a critical time, yeah he's done it, but Super Bowls, well he's thrown picks then too, so maybe that wasn't such a great point after all. No they don't, that's asinine get a ***** stop. The offense leaving points on the board is a narrative because we saw plays that should have been made which ***** hurt, without that we would have just said our Offense stalled occasionally while still managing to put up 17 while getting ganked by the officiating. You know what they didn't do they didn't disappear for essentially an entire half the game.
  8. None of what you wrote exists if McDermott gets a ***** stop after Allen and the offense got the lead at the end in the 4th quarter. Hell maybe it wouldn't if he'd let the offense try and get the ***** team into FG range with 20 seconds and timeout we had left to do it.
  9. Mahomes had 2 INTs in his first Super Bowl win.
  10. McDermott is in charge of the defense if at the end of the game you decide to kick the field goal instead of going for it to get the game winning TD then you need to get the ***** STOP! You've decided to put the game in the hands of your defense to either win it by not letting them get a FG or holding them to a FG for a tie or to get a shot with the ball again to win. You make that decision it's on you and it's on the defense.
  11. Mahomes threw a pick to lose in OT in the AFC Championship in 2022.
  12. In the Cover 1 breakdown of last week they talked about how the 3rd option on plays would be coming back toward the play/the first 2 reads so back into Josh's field of vision which was different from how Dorsey would often have it drawn up. Which when you think about for a minute is ***** insane and seems like something that when you think about now should be kind of basic.
  13. Davis seemed pretty upset about it getting asked about it after the game, all the crap he has to know he's been getting this season and he had a shot to win the game and he missed it.
  14. Must be fun as an OC to have to tie an arm behind your back to teach it a lesson in the middle of a game with the season potentially on the line.
  15. Of course he was, the idea he was asking for a penalty on his own team that essentially counts as a sack anyway is ***** stupid. That's like saying Josh has thrown more picks this year because he's avoiding incompletions.
  16. I'd say it was a combination effort Daboll was a bit much him screaming at Allen in the Patriots game and getting sent into the booth was probably a good balance of McDermott and Daboll.
  17. https://www.phillyvoice.com/eagles-haason-reddick-josh-sweat-say-bills-qb-josh-allen-lobbied-officials-flag-him-intentional-grounding/#:~:text=According to Reddick and fellow,on purpose%2C" Sweat said. ***** bull####. What a classy bunch of #######s we just played, you almost forget how they took advantage of the refs not calling penalties to take shots at our players.
  18. Feels like saying you saw it and are that wrong about how the rules actually apply when it's your job to enforce them, should maybe I don't know get you fired or something?
  19. I do wonder if at a certain point they realized no one was calling holding.
  20. I think there might have been something specifically off with him tonight as people seemed to note him coming off at times that was unusual but I don't know about an actual drop-off this year, there was the midseason offensive collapse in which everything was awful and the Jets game where things picked up but he had some drops early and was like before heavily covered and game planned for by the opposing defense. Hopefully whatever was off with him today will be better through the bye and we'll see him and Allen clicking more with the offense that doesn't appear to be a fluke.
  21. Yeah if it was just the refs I would have just been pissed, but the kneeling out the end of the 4th lack of getting after the poor officiating and just overall soft ass defense at the end that was all too familiar was deflating. I like McDermott and really want it to work with him it's just really feeling like it's not going to.
  22. I thought he was a meat shield in 2018 after that Bengals preseason game where the O-line showed their incredible skill as turnstiles for Josh.
  23. The Dolphins do still play the Cowboys and the Ravens also the Jets but they don't have an offense so it's tough but even the AFC East isn't technically impossible two losses and the last game of the year is for the division if we win out. As for the wildcard plenty of the teams in it play each other which should give us an opportunity to get ahead of one of them.
  24. Kincaid is getting better but has flipped the switch yet, Diggs seemed a little off this game or that's what people seemed to say I had to find ways to see the game so not the best observer today. Gabe had some actual plays today then got lost on a few including the one that would have won the game. Cook is pretty good yeah he should have caught that and had a TD but ***** weather and drops are going to happen, not going to write him off when he's been effective too often, and Shakir is turning it on more as we have a play caller that spreads the love. Hopefully if there's anything up with Diggs it's better after the bye and him and Allen are on the same page, but it's Diggs or hopefully the rookie takes another step or two if we want someone else to help carry the load. Knox should be back too and not hampered by injury but he's more good/decent.
