  1. It’s fun to speculate but man I can’t wait for the season to start so that we have some real data to evaluate.
  2. Yes. I would do it. Will Zeke make the Bills offense markedly better? Of course he will. Will next years first make the Bills better? Who knows! i think we can all agree the Bills are at least a border line playoff team right now. Zeke would likely get us over the hump. Not a a hard decision for me.
  3. Yes. For sure I would take Kaep over Jackson right now. No doubt.
  4. Did not see the game. Zay Jones not in the box score. Did he not play much? Is it time to trade for some draft capital?
  5. Didn’t see him play much in college so perhaps it made sense that he went pro, but still I don’t understand why a player like Jackson did not stay in college and get better.
  6. Most important game. We lose we go 9-7 at best. Take our chances getting into playoffs. Bills win and 10-6 is doable.
  7. Colts over the Bears.
  8. I’m pretty sure the Bills would not have won that game if Allen stayed healthy. Certainly debatable at best.
  9. About the Raiders: “This’ll be a rare case where VEGAS is the sucker for once,”
  10. Watson got hurt in 2017 and didn’t Mariota miss some games as well?
  11. That’s very concise and insightful way to sum up the 2017 draft. But I believe the draft was quite good for a guy who never coached an NFL game as an HC.
  12. To say everyone here loves Zay is a huge leap. He is our guy and will get the benefit of doubt. He will be under the microscope this TC and season (if he makes the team).
  13. As training camp approaches I was thinking about personnel and how the 4 main picks from the 2017 draft could play a crucial part in this team’s success. If Jones takes it to another level and Dawkins and Milano continue to progress, I have to give McDermott a lot a credit for his first draft while strapped with a lame duck GM. I can understand if many see whiffing on Mahommes as unforgivable, but that aside, the HC may have done really well for his 1st draft and makes me optimistic that he gets it. We don’t know yet if it is a great draft but given the previous regimes track record it’s lookin pretty good.
  14. Some days I think the last two seasons are truly representative of the FO/HC and the 8-8 +/- trend will continue. Others days I think they overachieved with what they inherited and this year they will break through. Either way this will be fun to see unfold. And one thing is clear. You can argue the last two seasons were transition years but this season is all on the HC/GM with respect to results. And we have our clear #1 QB. No wondering who wins out in camp this year. I love the clarity we have this season. Seems like that has been missing.
  15. 9 wins for sure. Worried about game 1 against the Jets and Titans on the road. I think the Eagles could be a win.
  16. Born and raised in Wayne County. Live in Santa Barbara. Get the occasional go Bills when I wear the logo.
  17. Especially when they can easily afford a cab or Uber.
  18. Did Jackson have 10 wins last year? Thought he only started 7.
  19. Same here. Use to turn it on after work and I would often never turn the channel. Only watch the station if there is a live game on that interested me. Would drop the station if it wasn’t for college football.
  20. That is awful. I wish him the best. Did it happen during practice or pre-existing? i wonder if the Raiders took Oliver we would have drafted him.
  21. Maybe I’m being too dramatic but I think this could be the Bills most import game of the season. A loss here and I think the best they do is 9 - 7. A playoff spot is up in the air. With a win in week 1, 10 - 6 is achievable and a likely playoff spot.
  22. The Jets probably thought the same thing in 2017 when they went up against the Bills and their new HC In week 1. Have to take the Jets very seriously.
  23. I totally get your point and the man needs to think it through very carefully before getting married and having children. It certainly can come off the rails in a big way and there is a lot of financial exposure and unhappiness. However, your post about the woman side of things is a little insensitive. Out of all the couples I have known who have gone through a divorce it was the woman who was ripped apart and crushed by the process. It wasn’t their grand plan and they would have given anything to have it the way it was. Don’t get me wrong, I’m sure there are wives who are manipulative.
  24. Consistency, getting open quickly and making big catches when we need it to keep a drive alive is not boring to me. If Zay elevates to that kind of WR we are in good shape.
