I find it hard to believe the Head Coach, going into his 6th season, was not kept in the loop. Especially when the decision of whether or not they cut Haak was on the table. To put the coach in that position is really unprofessional. He had to know the same amount as the rest of upper management. To not include him would be a huge issue with the organization. What he learned in the last 36 hours may be something we, the public, do not know about as of yet.

Perhaps, but the victim’s attorney contacted them 3 or 4 weeks ago. There was an article in the LA Times reporting about the incident back in June. Some truly big red flags there. I believe the Bills did not have the full picture until Thursday like all of us but they were clearly ahead of the curve on this. Cutting Haak is just very strange to me.

It’s still bizarre they cut Haak. They may not have had the whole story but it seems they should have had enough info to push pause. I get Haak was on the bubble no matter what but he still is a serviceable plan B to buy some time and bring in someone else.

So ready for this to be over. Bills have a chance to cut bait now and make it only a San Diego problem. Don’t want to be lumped in with the Browns, Steelers and Chiefs.

The OP seemed to be questioning why Arazia was brought into the civil suit. I was just stating the plaintiffs claim of how Arazia was connected, allegedly.

Not saying any of this is factual. Just stating what was in the lawsuit.

Civil suit was filed yesterday. Post intercourse, Plaintiff claims Arazia took her to a bedroom occupied by the former teammates and threw her face down on to the bed. Have not heard whether or not someone is claiming this is not true. It sounds like what happened next with respect to Arazia is unclear. Was he in the room, did he watch and do nothing, did he participate or did he walk away?

Having sex with a minor is only half of the problem for Azaria. The lawsuit states that when he was done with the girl, he took her to a bedroom and threw her face first on the bed where some of his teamate(s) allegedly raped her. So he may not have raped but he may have facilitated the act for others to some degree. I would bet a lot of money that the Bills will say that this is new info and will cut him today.

He may not have raped her at either time but at a minimum he may have been complicit in the rape by his teammates. Again, just my interpretation of the article.

They may not have known in April. Sounds like they first got wind of this mid to late July.

I want the Bills to cut him now. Don’t need this distraction. They have two weeks before the opener. Still time to recover but not much.

From now on Beane should just trade his second pick. Move up a few spots in the 1st or pick up an extra 3rd and 4th.

The Browns could have picked Malik Willis in the 3rd round, trade Baker and get Brissett or jimmy G as a bridge and avoided all of this.

They will settle on 12 games. NFL does not want Watson anywhere near that Houston game.

Glad to hear it could be a few weeks to recover. Do not want to see Josh anywhere near the field in preseason. He was fine in 2020 with no games.

I’m pleasantly surprised that the NFL is not giving in to the original decision. I wonder if they are being pressured by the other Owners to punish the Browns indirectly for that absurd contract. I also wonder if they know more about the cases than the general public and are afraid more stuff could come out at some point.
