Fortunately, Hail Murray did not cost the Bills the 1 seed. KC went 14-2 that year and had the tie breaker. Not the playoff game. He hurt his left shoulder vs the Raiders in week 4. Had to go to the locker room. Played poorly, for him, the following two weeks vs the Titans and Chiefs. And actually was not great vs the Jets after that. The field goal game. if they beat the Chiefs at home, they might have achieved the one seed and the AFC championship game would’ve been in Orchard Park. It might have been a different story. What kills me is the Browns had the Chiefs beat that year. If the Refs called the spearing charge on Sorensen, which resulted the Higgins loss of the ball through the end zone, that game would have ended differently.

Might have if Josh did not get hurt in that Raider game.

While feeling down reading about Kim, this made me laugh.

Could have taken Josh Jacobs and Metcalf in that draft instead of Oliver and Ford. Sigh.

The Bills will not be picked to go to the SB. They may not be picked in the top 5. Less pressure and expectations.

All teams have injuries. Some things could have helped the Bills too. If Hall was there maybe Jets win the 2nd game. If the Dolphins were healthier maybe they win the 2nd game and/or the payoff game. If Gay did not get suspended maybe KC wins that game. It all comes out in the wash.

The Bills have a big to do list but a low hanging fruit is dumping the all blues uniform. Grew weary of them quickly and they looked awful yesterday.

This team would not be in the playoffs without Diggs.

To be honest, with all that happened, I think they over achieved this year thanks to Allen and Diggs. My expectations were muted going into the off-season. It was confirmed during the Miami game. I’m just surprised how flat they were today.

I get the anxiety about playing the Bengals and by no means am I’m predicting a win for the Bills. But the Bengals should be sitting at home this weekend and they should have lost to the Patriots. I expect a tight game. But this is fun! So much better than the alternative of the drought era when we were pulling our pud this time of year.

Same here. I think any outcome is possible with the Bills. My anxiety level was sky high after the Dolphin win. Still haven’t rewatched the game which I normally do by now. Probably won’t get to it. The most I felt remotely confident that they would win was the Jags last year and the Steelers this year.

Same with the Patriots game. Easily could have lost that one too.

Kind of wishing for a Cowboy loss. Love the high intensity drama and angst that comes with it. No one will really care that much if the Bucs loose.

I just don’t see why you risk it. Sure it could have worked out but it was nearly the beginning of the end of the 2022/23 Buffalo Bills campaign. Nothing wrong with getting a little conservative and using up clock from time to time. It cost us the Vikings game. Great plays become the enemy of smart plays. I would like to see more methodical offensive drives especially in the playoffs. Keep that banged up defense off the field.

Josh never should have thrown it. Brown was covered. There were two check down guys, one was Singletary, forget the other, who were wide open for 5 to 10 yard gain. Was 1st and 10 mid-field. 6 minutes left in the half. 17 - 3. I love JA but get frustrated with his thinking that the Bills need a big play when they don’t. Could have just pass ed it underneath and keep moving or even give it to Cook again. So weird.

Don’t understand the CC discontent. CC/MT/NBC is the best NFL broadcast. And it’s not close.

I’m happy to see he is playing well enough to get off the TBD s%#t list. Hopefully Basham achieves that next season.

I read an article about a Cowboy player doing the same thing. Was only there a year or less and he wanted to keep his helmet. Cowboys wanted $250. He struggled with it but decided to buy it figuring he would regret it later in life.
