It seems like the NFL has a lot of superfluous rules when comes to this stuff.

Would rather they try to pry Cooper Rush from the Cowboys.

Will Cooper Rush be available? -
Good teams move on from their mistakes and don’t look back. Give 49ers some credit there.

This is shocking to see it in black and white. But not all his fault. Covid and a big injury derailed a lot of this.Still, 49ers were crazy to do what they did.

If I’m a team like the Rams or Patriots I make some sort of trade. A 3rd rounder seems fair.
My first reaction was Patriots as well. -

Get this garbage out of their system.

Thanks for the heads up. Haven't seen the show, but I've heard good things.
I think it is pretty funny but I can understand if others don’t care for it. Worth a watch. -
Tonight’s How To With John Wilson on HBO had an encounter with the Bills tailgating scene in case anyone is interested.

Just not Allen and Diggs.

The D coordinator is really annoying. Dropping the F bomb every other word and wearing his hat backwards gushing over Rodgers. That act has gotten really old fast.

After reading Touhy's statements I was inclined to believe him. However, a couple of minor things dont add up.
1. As others pointed out, they totally could have legally adopted him.
2. His statement that none of them made any money from the movie, and all they got was half of the author's payment ($14k each, or about $60k total). I find it nearly possible to believe that the Touhy's being good business people just handed over all the rights to their story to the movie studio. That movie was up for Movie of the Year, won Oscars for other things, was a big hit... and it all just lined some studio exec's pocket? And they were ok with that? I'm sure a lot went to Sandra Bullock and maybe some other actors, but still... Just giving away your story seems idiotic.
My conclusion after studying all the evidence presented by both sides: I dont care at all. Start the season. Go Bills!!
Exactly! It wouldn’t matter if I was homeless or had 10 homes. I wouldn’t just giveaway the rights of my story for pennies just so a large movie studio and actors can get even richer. It doesn’t add up.
I’m not knowledgeable on how much authors get for movie rights but $120K seems very low for major productions.

How much money did they get from the NFL contract?
Not sure your point. Sons and daughters are not obligated to pay their parents a percentage of their lifetime earnings.-

I saw the movie, he wasn’t the sharpest tool in the shed.
That is part of his contention and started the downward slide with his relationship with the family. The movie made him out to be really dumb but actually he was pretty smart.-

Seems like a money grab after the fact. They had no way of knowing he would be in the NFL when they took him in.
I mean maybe there is some wrong on their side that occurred after the fact once big time money got involved with the movie tho...
Oher was barely 18 when he signed his life away. Interesting coincidence they did this when he was just old enough to sign the documents. That was sarcasm.
He was extremely gifted athletically and received multiple offers from big time universities to play football. Not a huge stretch to predict he would be playing in the NFL someday.

Yes. In 2065.-

Hyde and Poyer are injury prone of late. They need to take that into consideration.

What’s really annoying is Brady could have had Metcalf his last couple years here.. heck he may have stayed having a top WR like that on the team. (Edelman and Metcalf would been a scary duo with Brady)
I think the same thing about the Bills. Could have had DK. Instead, they trade up for Ford.
Would have been a much different looking 2019 season with DK, Brown and Beasley. They had a great defense that year. A little more offensive fire power and I bet they would have won the division.
However, they would have unlikely landed Diggs. They would have been later in the draft and MN probably would have found a different team with better draft positioning. Like NE.

The other possibility is that nothing happens. Seen that Bills movie before.
