I see throughout the thread that folks are somewhat in the camp of Ray Davis being an adequate replacement for Cook if Cook were to be traded (or if he held out (which I don't think he will once the season starts). Honest question, what do people see in Ray Davis that makes them think he is starting NFL RB? He looked "ok" last year...had that one long receiving TD...but otherwise, he just seemed like another guy. Just curious what other people are seeing in Davis in place of Cook?

So, the question is where we think he would be drafted in a WR re-draft? Or where do we think he ranks among WR options across the league? I ask, because I think those two things are very, very different.

For many of the drought years I became disinterested by mid-season. I watched most, if not all, of the games, but there were definitely times late in the season when all hope was lost that I would run errands and just check in on the game via the radio in the car.

I just looked on Wikipedia quickly for the seasons and it looked like most teams weren't great the year before with the exception of 2001 Ravens having won the SB in 2000 and the 2010 Jets having gone to AFCC in 09 and again in 2010, the year of their Hard Knocks. I am glad this is the training camp version and not in-season. I could see in-season being more of a distraction.
