No disrespect to the thread starter, but I absolutely hate this argument. If the Bengals vs. Ravens game that happened Week 17 had instead been played in, say Week 3, and that game unfolded the exact same way...the Bills Vs. Dolphins game Week 17 would have been a win-and-in scenario for Buffalo. EVERY playoff spot has some "thing" associated with it that happened during the season that could be construed as "lucky" that aided X team in getting a playoff spot. The Bill did not back in to the playoffs...they just...made the playoffs. The national media liked to say the Bills needed help to get in the playoffs. Guess what? Every team technically needs "help" to get in the playoffs. They need to win their games and other teams need to lose certain games. Just because it happened in the last game of the season doesn't, in any way, shape, or form diminish the accomplishment. Enjoy it...the drought is over!

I've followed along all of the twitter compilations from every practice thus far (albeit it WAS just reading what others observed) and it would appear that most indications are that, while Josh makes mistakes here and there, he also attempts and makes throws the other 2 QB's either can't or simply won't make. Based on what I've read from Bills Training Camp is that Josh is ahead of schedule (compared to the post-draft projections on him needing a lot of time to develop). I would think the reason people are "making fun of other QB's" has to do with the praise heaped on Mahomes without ever having produced anything in the NFL, while many decried Allen a bust...also without ever having produced anything in the NFL. My guess is that people are having fun with the fact that Mahomes has had some struggles even though he was anointed by many to be a star in the making.

I grew up in Maine and have always hated Boston/New England sports teams. My father is from Rochester and my mother is from Maine so I grew up with the Bills but was surrounded by Boston fans. I haven't lived in New England since 1999 so some of my non-Patriots Boston sports hatred has calmed but I still have a hard time rooting for any non-Patriots Boston teams.
