SNF: Eagles at Cowboys (-3) 8:20 NBC
Johnnycage46 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
My original comment was in regard to the fact that the Eagles may now be super duper motivated. I agree they were likely very motivated to win tonight but now they are super duper motivated and that makes me very scared in my pants. -

Are you asking because you don't know or because you are trying to prove a point? -

This was my thought as well. They should be desperate. I hope the Bills are more settled and prepared than the first 3 quarters today. Going to need a good game next week. -
How to shorten the game
Johnnycage46 replied to Buffalo Barbarian's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
But if all games were shorter, how would shorter games allow more time to watch other games? -
Terrible day? Please elaborate.

Classic..lost an argument and you result to direct insults. Point is, we as Bills fans are happy they won, but today's performance was alarming. Also, your lack of knowledge regarding grammar is also alarming. And sad. Most people who completed at least junior high would know how to correctly use possessive language. Hang in there. Get a tutor and you'll get there. I'm rooting for you.

Relax. The point I made is valid. And it's "God's sake". Not "god sakes'....for God's sake.

Dawson Knox killing his own legend.

It's the rookie part. -
And I actually think it might help this group. Seems they like the underdog role.

Surprised we are favored at all considering today's outing. Hoping they can get it done.

Week 7 expert picks
Johnnycage46 replied to SlimShady'sSpaceForce's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The guy who picked the Dolphins is probably behind in his stupid picking record so he's hoping to go against the grain to get a win that nobody else will. That or he is very, very dumb. -
QB Grades Through Week 6 Per PFF

What exactly are you basing this take on? -
Does anyone miss Zach Brown? Nigel Bradham?

I think you are overvaluing the contribution to the on-field product that Brandon would have had with the current Beane/McDermott team. I firmly believe, while Russ Brandon would likely be around based on his continued failing upward, but I don't think he would have had much of a hand in drafting, free agency, etc. I think Beane/McDermott have a firm grasp on the control of the organization. That is all I was saying. -

Not sure why you put "smart" in quotations lol. Anyway, I said the current regime...i.e. 2017 and onward...and I mentioned defense in response to letting Gilmore walk. I don't know why people seem to link the current regime and ownership with those of the last 15 or 20 years...a LOT of new people. -

Or it could be that this regime has shown a great ability to develop defensive talent and think to themselves why pay through the roof when we can develop another guy. Its actually pretty smart. -
In the weekly pickem league I am in I am tied with 3 others for the lead this week...all 3 of us picking GB...tie breaker points I have 48...one other person in the 3 way tie has exactly 45....23 to 22 seems very likely now.

Daboll's Forward Handoff: Spreading throughout the league?
Johnnycage46 replied to MJS's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Have to agree there. I think the one thing I like about the jet sweep stuff is (based on what I've been hearing on the radio and reading...not based on my own "film study") is that Dabol appears to be using it a lot to set things up for later in the game. -

We could probably say that for any screen pass, slant, dump off. Plus they have worked this year for the Bills...probably more of the reason why they do them...rather than just stat padding.
