  1. If something is frustrating...even something you love...sometimes dialing back the investment is necessary. I never said all negativity is bad...but if people are losing their minds maybe they should take a break.
  2. I agree with you on a lot of your statements above. I think the board is quick to call negative posts overly negative and positive posts overly positive. My bet is that there are just SO many of the negative threads now that people are getting fed up with it.
  3. Personally I'm not making fun of you and my reason for offering advice to not be too invested is that getting angry won't change anything. Easier said than done, I know. But at the end of the day, you will be the only one that suffers (this is coming from someone who has his own share of anger issues that just end up hurting me somehow). I think, since this IS a discussion forum, it's obviously fine and encouraged to discuss things but it can snowball so quickly into just a negative cesspool. Kinda like what is happening all across the country on social media, on the news, etc. EDIT: to add to this thought, the above is one of the main reasons I have bashed Mike Schopp on WGR so much. I think he has spent so much time being negative (whether justified or not) that its almost made his default response negative. I think that is what I mean by not getting too invested emotionally.
  4. In fairness, if you are this frustrated maybe take a break from the team for a while? It's going to probably get a lot worse before it gets better.
  5. Not sure what the issue is with addressing it now. Peterman and I both had the same QB rating yesterday. It appears to be obvious to everyone but McD that Peterman cannot even finish an NFL game due to historically bad play. If it wasn't his boy McD would have announced it. He is just stubborn and loyal to a fault.
  6. But you are kinda saying I'm wrong lol. And it might be an assumption to think McD handles it with professionalism in the locker room. He seems to have a huge man crush on Peterman and I worry it's going to get him in hot water.
  7. McD just cannot let go of Peterman...asked point blank about QB and he essentially makes the argument that it's the whole offense's fault. Yes the O sucks but so does Peterman.
  8. I can get on board with that, but he does seem to be in on everything tonight.
  9. Agreed. He is almost single handedly beating GB. Not many like him in the NFL on D that that instantly take over a game.
  10. I picked Green Bay in my last man standing pool. Whoops. Bad day all around for me and football.
  11. I assume you DIDN'T watch the game? While most takes are extreme...they do seem to be in the realm of warranted. This team does appear primed to be one of, if not the worst teams in the NFL this year.
  12. 24 yards passing...in 1.25 halves of football...in the NFL...in 2018. Not so much what Allen did but what he did that Peterman couldn't or wouldn't do.
  13. "I need to look at the tape" will be on McD's tombstone.
  14. He is also close to amillionaire... or will be...screw him lol
  15. Did they just run a draw to end the game lol...obviously they lost but let Allen sling it!
  16. Worst part of this 2nd half is the D cant get off the field to let Allen get more reps.
  17. I agree and I want Allen in...but McD seems enamored with Peterman's "DNA", "menatal toughness", and sweet ass good looks. Ok I made up the last one but still.
  18. Peterman will start next week. McD loves home some Peterman.
  19. WHAT is the point of kicking a FG down 40????
  20. I hope you are just joking around but I really laughed at this and it made this day a little better (laughing with you, not at you)
  21. Another franchise record at the expense of the Bills.
