I'm going to remain skeptical about Allen over Rosen, but that almost feels like a bonus pick. If Edmunds hits as a "franchise" MLB and White proves what he showed last year, you'll take that all day in back to back 1st rounds.
Phillips too, last year we didn't have a DT who could hold the middle and take on those double teams so the LBs could be free to make tackles. If you watch the New Orleans tape they walled off Preston Brown consistently and just ran all over us that game. With Star and Phillips that should never happen this year.

*shudder* we do have concerns at OT, don't we?
Think it's possible they may be looking for experience in the backfield as a counterweight to a less experienced center and a rookie or low-playing-time QB?
we liked older RBs last year too backing up Shady, nothing wrong with having experience back there especially in pass protection. But running backs over 28 tend to have durability issues, if they sign Barner it's a good thing might as well have a stable back there of experience.
-
we do not mind older RBs do we? I always thought fresh legs were needed in the backfield every season but this FO and staff doesn't seem to like RBs under 30

I am on the phone all day long, I say "take care" before hangning up, or if i'm talking to a driver i say "be safe" or "be good".
Breaks up the monotony.

I thought Stark used his nanobots to heal himself after the fight was over.

Last Sunday 5/1 i was out fishing and I saw a 200lb tarpon busting bait in about 8 feet of water. Crazy? Not terribly. Cool? incredibly cool.

I understand he's not supposed to be working with Bills coaches, but I would be absolutely floored if this staff didn't have a complete offseason QB manuel for him to take home, with a set routine to work on fundamentals daily. All the have to do is put the word If in front of everything so it looks like a suggestion. If you wanted to work on your mechanics a good drill to do daily would be this, or if you wanted to improve your footwork, here is a thing you can do.
Allen has to do the work himself, he has to want to be better. All the coaches can do is advise and critique.

Because the team is adamant that he won't in 2018.
Hue is adamant. I don't really know if the rest of the organization is on board with that.

His game speed matches or exceeds his timed speed. It is crazy to see him chasing down WR's that easily. I really like the fact that he improved on his weaknesses as the season went on. I think we killed it on this pick.
I don't think you'll see him chasing down WRs that easily in the NFL just because if you're a NFL WR and you see him in your rearview, you're using every gear you have, i mean running like there's a grizzly chasing you.

Kyle was a fifth round pick. It does not mean they will have the same career, but this kid does seem to share many of the same characteristics as a player and a person, so it is certainly possible. It will be fun to watch his development this year.
Kyle is a gleaming example of how flawed the draft process is at identifying NFL players. Productive in college, crazy athletic, could have probably played MLB if he was inclined. Football IQ very high. How the heck was Kyle a 5th round pick?

Mr. Terrific sports the “Band Camp Blazer” in black and the “TurtleTom” Top with the Extra Stretchy Head Hole.
I mean he looks like he is the main character in an adult film version of John Wick where someone killed his pekingese

A friend of mine is a big ECU booster. He absolutely loved Zay coming out of college and would text me throughout last season. He claims Zay's family is incredibly solid and supportive, and thinks last year was just a bit of a shock for him. He expects Zay to really turn the corner this season. Fingers crossed.
That is my expectation too. It's an adjustment from college to the NFL for every player, but I kind of think Zay had extra pressure on him due to the family ties. It's not easy to live up to expectations sometimes, he needs to continue to work hard, but he needs to learn to relax and let the game come to him as well.

I don't always drink (because Giselle doesn't let me); but when I do it's a vodka/soda, and close the tab.

Jared Goff didn't and neither will Mayfield.
I don't think Mayfield starts regardless of how he plays. Hue seemed pretty adamant about going with Taylor. We'll see if that strains his relationship with Dorsey or not.

He could be our Martin Nance....again.

I don't know either way what's the right way to develop a QB, sitting the bench worked for Aaron Rodgers, while Carson Wentz played every game in 2016 so I can't say either way what the correct formula is, I think it is more about drafting the right QB who will work regardless of the situation, if he has to play early he makes it work, if he has to sit he makes it work.
Hopefully Allen doesn't let circumstance dictate his career.

I agree but I think Groy should come in with the mentality to be one of the best 5 because Dawkins-Groy-Bodine-Miller/Teller-McDermott/Mills looks pretty good to me if all keep progressing
its not super imposing by their names but they are all young hard workers who have experience to build on
I don't much care how imposing their names look as long as they get the job done. Dawkins last year did an admirable job at LT and he's the defacto starter there now. And I know people love to dog on Mills but it looks to me like we're going with him yet again and to be honest, things could be worse, they just need to give him help in certain situations. He's not going to block Von Miller 1 on 1. So lets not ask him to.

I feel like they have Bodine plugged in at center.
Groy is super valuable wherever he will line up but I feel they signed Bodine to start
Groy is definitely valuable as a backup because he can play all 5 positions on the line, and I don't know if he plays STs or not but I assume he does.
I just remember Groy stepping in for Wood and doing an admirable job, if I were Groy I would want to be the starting center for sure. I think the best 5 should play if that's not Groy then so be it.

No Groy at center? Interesting
Why Fedex Why?

Ordered something for Mother's day on Friday, figured it would ship on Monday, no big deal. Get the notice Friday it shipped, cool. Track shipment....Hanahan SC-Charlotte NC-Belle Isle FL-Orlando FL-Orlando FL.....Are they just showing this package around Orlando before the expected delivery date of 5/10? Heck the US Mail could have gotten it here by now. This is why I do not order crap online. Last time I actually called Fedex and said "just drop at my local post office I'll pick it up myself."
How can a company this inefficient make money?
