That was actually my opinion, not what people said. I thought he was more pro ready than Mayfield. So not gonna apologize for it. But i also said forget Rosen he's not a Bill. I have been on board with Allen since we took him. But i'm not going to go back and pretend i didn't have other opinions before the draft.

My initial reaction was while Allen had the most upside he had the most bust potential. And Rosen had the lowest floor and was the most pro ready right now. Forget Rosen, he's not a Bill. I'm hoping Daboll can develop Allen into our answer for the next 15 years.

It's all about your mismatches. Finding that weak spot and pressing on it hard. Maximizing your players abilities and minimizing their weaknesses. Daboll understands this and I think our offense will bear that out.

It's Cleveland, they'll fight tooth and nail to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. They could have had the best pass rush tandem in the NFL but they went with a corner. They could have drafted Wentz two years ago but decided he wasn't going to be successful in the NFL. And we're supposed to be surprised they are mucking this up?

I just thought they could have gotten a cover corner that would have been adequate later on. But They would not get a better pass rusher, IDK maybe the DE from Miami they took will turn out to be Calais Campbell or something.

Was it him or was it Philbin in Miami that had two offenses on the field at once and he'd stand at the 50, one side ran a play, then the other side ran the same play. He could run twice as much in the same amount of time. Seemed like genius really. I actually pulled that over to my son's youth football team when I was OC/HC and it was very effective in getting kids reps .

When you've got 12 WRs in camp, and 5-7 TEs, I can see how QBs arms would get worn out throwing in those drills.

Passing on Chubb was a huge flub up IMO. Look what the Chargers are doing with Ingram and Bosa, and now the Broncos with Miller and Chubb, and Cleveland didn't want Chubb and Garrett??? Ludicrous.

That trade back did get us Kiko, who in turn got us Shady, so silver linings there.

I remember how bad the offense was last year, and it's hard to imagine it regressing at all, it could be worse, but not much it was terrible. If McCarron and Daboll can get anything going, we'll be better. The Oline is worse, no doubt about that. That will have the biggest negative effect.

Cleveland should win 4 games next year. Buffalo should win at least 7. But, and this a J-Lo sized butt....if they do go with Mayfield, and IF Josh Gordon is not suspended, the Browns could actually shock some people.
