  1. Hunker...Down! we sat in my garage listening to the radio back in 2004 when Charlie/Francis/Ivan/Jean came through and did hunker down shots. Every time they said it on the radio, shot of crown. We slept well even with no power.
  2. Seems I hedged my bet nicely there with the "if they get rid of McCarron" comment. *pats myself on the back*
  3. Shut your filthy mouth with that nonsense!!!!!!!!! Nothing matters but the QB! NOTHING!!!!
  4. Anyone care to look at Wentz's statistics from his rookie year? Would those have convinced anyone he was a franchise guy? What about Goff's rookie campaign? He looked like a gigantic bust. Year 1 for a rookie QB is essentially a learning on the job year. You might know more in year 2, usually a good developing franchise QB will take a solid step forward year 2. But you won't know anything from this season.
  5. Because everyone in the organization took a hard line against him and his man crush on Petermania.
  6. After seeing her handle that racket there is no way on earth I'd want a happy ending from her.
  7. if you're Chicago you already won that trade with Oakland.
  8. He was unreal with barely any knowledge of the Bears defensive scheme. They pretty much cut him loose and said "do your thing" .
  9. I was thinking he views Salamanca as the animal he caught. The humane thing would be to put it down....but he kept it alive.. that's a dark MF right there.
  10. It's happened here a million times, we get all up in arms and suddenly there's no bread on the shelves and no gas at the pumps then the thing turns and everyone tries to bring all their stuff back to the grocery store, who chucks it.
  11. No there isn't, though I hear there is this developmental guy Debeer, Dabeer, something like that.
  12. I think Teller is young and talented. But Castillo has this boner for Vlad...
  13. Just like McDermott looking at the tape to see where our pass protection broke down
  14. Live to play another down. He gets pressured do what Brady does, dirt the ball then cry to the official for a flag.
  15. i agree with this. It's hard to accomplish anything when you have no pass protection and cannot establish any kind of running game.
  16. It's not that we're losing its the way we're losing. These blowouts are way more common than they were under Gailey/Marrone/even Rex didn't get obliterated 2-3 games a year.
  17. Mills is terrible. I never meant to say I thought otherwise, I just meant to say of all the terrible olinemen we have he was the least terrible. He was the worst olineman on the team last year with Vlad right behind him. That's how bad our line is at this point, we're debating who is worse, Vlad or Mills. This line is a mess.
  18. Dawkins I think may be the best lineman, but his showing was no better than the others Sunday. And he cost us a stupid penalty later in the game. This line needs a complete rebuild in 2019 Dawkins is the only guy I would bring back. But right now, Mills may be the most consistent lineman we have. Dawkins is/will be better. Just not at the moment. Just pray Bosa doesn't play this weekend. If he plays, we might as well just run wildcat.
  19. Jacksonville is going to the super bowl.
  20. Mills is probably our best olineman right now.
  21. Gotta say neither. What were the weak links Sunday? WR/OL. What areas were not addressed by the GM this offseason??? See where I'm going with this?
  22. I think at a MINIMUM they have to activate Teller this week. Newhouse got his chance, and he was horrible. Nothing new there. Give Teller a shot to step in and do something, we know he cannot be worse than Vlad. Hell a traffic cone is about as good as Vlad.
  23. Tiberius Taptheratrix was my personal favorite of those. someone explain the lamp thing to the new guy.
