Looking at only stats is how people can make an argument that Tyrod is a Top 10 QB. If you actually watch him play, it’s a different story.

Suh was an absolute animal in college and it was known that we would be a top player taken in the draft. I didn’t hear about Phillips until we drafted him.

Yeah.. agree that Phillips should not be compared to Suh...

Number 2 versus Number 96 and all..

But... if you hadn't heard about Phillips before he was drafted then I question your interest in the draft process, particularly in a year when the Bills had three picks in the second/early third where he was being projected as going....

Phillips was a good get... They could have picked him at 53 and it wouldn't have been deemed a reach in my view...

Helped me take an edge off giving up their second rounders to get Allen as I genuinely would have been happy with him at 53 or 56...

  2. I’ve happily moved on but wish Tyrod all the best...

Wonder where he will be in 2019? He will still be wanting starter money from someone but doubt the Browns will be paying him again..

Might be the Giants if Eli pulls the pin after this year..

I'm afraid Shady's window is not going to be in synch with the team's window of success, assuming Allen beats the odds and develops into a franchise QB.

By the time we are good, Shady won't be in the mix.

    So?

He will just have to get by on his multiple millions that he is paid then?

This bit from that article takes me back to some good times...

    Anquan Boldin heavily involved

With Matthews out, Tyrod Taylor was looking Anquan Boldin's way often on Monday morning. In a run heavy practice, Taylor targeted Boldin six times and Boldin caught four of them. At this point, Taylor is getting comfortable with Boldin and rookie Zay Jones, who was targeted three times but didn't catch a pass.

Vegas has the Bills at 6.5. That feels close to right because of the defense. I still don’t think that they win 7 games. That offense could be the worst that the Bills have ever fielded. If Allen can play it won’t matter though. Look at what the Browns did to their offense this offseason. The Bills have a chance to do that next offseason.

Are you familiar with the 1985 Bills? Doubt they are winning 6 games if they are this bad..

The Bills' offense was anemic: its 200 points scored is the lowest total in the 1980s, and the lowest total in team history for a 16-game schedule. Bills quarterbacks Vince Ferragamo and Bruce Mathison only produced 9 passing touchdowns all season, while combining for a league-high 31 interceptions.Buffalo scored fewer than 10 points in seven of its 16 games. The team's point-differential of negative-181 points is the third-worst in franchise history.

The main difference is we got the breaks.

The fumble in ATL, 100% incomplete pass any other year imo. Won them that game.

The Von Miller Penalty, really changed that game as well. Never happened in the drought.

The only really terrible calls that I saw was the Benjamin TD, Gronk hit, and the OPI against the jags.

So they had two calls go their way ( debatable) and three go against them...

If I can only say one thing, I'll say it was the difference in culture that McDermott installed in 2017...

  7. I cant see Shaq being cut or traded based on who else they have on the squad at the moment...

He is clearly the third End that will be used in rotation with Hughes and Murph, and I would even like to see him play inside on 3rd down passing situations..

He obviously hasn't played up to the expectations of a First rounder, but can we honestly say that he was bad last year?

I think you keep him another season and see if he gets better... He will have to improve to see 2019 though otherwise his replacement will be drafted next season...

The racist, xenophobic, gun-loving, education-hating, environment-killing, authoritarian, myopic hypocrisy of it all. This administration, and those who support it, are literally anti-Jesus's philosophy while unironically spouting his words.

Not everyone, of course. But it does seem they like candidates who are not only moronic, but pederasty and sometimes criminal.

    Hope that clears it up.

Don’t sugarcoat it man... what are you trying to say?...

Nice predictions, Nostradamus.  What was that sound?  Oh, I know!  That was the sound of all your credibility flying out the window.  Dolt

    Nice call out...

I can’t believe the lack of respect the Bills get from the media over there..

Yesterday there was a story on nfl.com... Former Rams and Seahawks coach Chuck Knox dies at 86..

They cut his old college coach who recommended him for a good WR coach!

Did they cut him because he knew of preexisting injury and failed to disclose it to Bills?

    We do not know.

Ok cheers.. I missed that and see he is now with Lynn at the Chargers...

Maybe they can give us a pick back for him then..;)

I don’t think he was *that* bad. Would like to see him with a real QB.

I think they should keep him around for 2018....

Just making the point that his numbers were not great in 2017, and he has had the off season brain explosion thing happen, so I don't see any other team giving up a pick for him..

I think that he has the most value to the Bills in 2018... he was supposedly injured last year, they traded a 2nd and 3rd for him so they must have seen something,  and he can continue to work with his old college coach....

If he doesn't improve this year however than I think he is in jeopardy and questions need to be asked around his selection...

No doubt Daboll is loading up on slot WRs to add formation flexibility similar to what NE does.

Frankly I don't see where a guy like Zay fits into that regime and it wouldn't shock me if he's dealt for a 5th or 6th in August.  If he does manage to stick around for the final 53 and gets out-produced this season by Mr. Almost Irrelevant, he'll be cut outright after 2018 concludes.

Who is going to give up any pick for him?
