Tua is the most mid player I have seen …he is never going to take them very far … I just checked out his contract, and they can’t really move on from him for the next 2-3 years ..

Annoys me on some of these fumble recoveries that the D players see the ball on the deck and have visions of picking it up and running it back….even some 330 pound DT … Just dive on the freaking ball…

I think there is a bit more urgency to “go all in “ again as Josh will be 29 next season and surely even he will eventually start slowing down in the next couple of years …if they don’t win it this year , then they should be thinking about moves like this … Crosby is 27 … wouldn’t say he is “old” …provided he recovers from the injury he has got 4 more high end years at a minimum … and his contract for the next 2 years is manageable and you can walk away after that if need be…if you sign a top end free agent then you will be likely committed longer than two years Of course I would prefer to draft the next version of Crosby or TJ Watt …but that’s obviously harder to do picking in the late 20s every year.. you are likely getting someone that still needs some seasoning when they need someone to hit the ground running …

Chris Simms making a point that the Bills D style can leave Josh susceptible to long periods of the sideline against the better teams, and is advocating the Bills play a more aggressive style to either get the turnover or stop rather than giving up continued long drives … (4.15 mark on attached clip) I don’t really imagine McDermott is going to change much mid season … but food for thought if we get a repeat of last week against the Lions O..

Happy Birthday Ed - still only 27, so you could say he should be in the peak of his career right now … However … that’s clearly not how he is playing , and I dont know about you, but Ive starting looking at Ed’s contract and when they can cut bait … spoiler alert - it won’t be in 2025 .. Some people are saying he needs a good Tackle beside him …. But that certainly wasn’t the case last year when Jones was injured and Ed turned in his best season … perhaps they should be looking on the other side of him for explanations for his play this season , with Floyd being replaced with AJE… AJE has been disappointing no doubt … I actually thought his contract was reasonable value … but he is just a depth rotational piece.., Im still leaning to keep him in the last year of the deal as at least we know what he is instead of them trying to throw a fourth rounder in there and hoping for the best first up …maybe do both … Having said that though …. Ed gets paid three times what AJE gets paid, so I’m going to scrutinise Ed more closely, and have bigger expectations for him .. I think Beane needs to swing as big as he can to get a decent starter at AJE’s position in this next free Agency … just get someone a bit younger than Von this time .. I would also be taking a swing at drafting Ed’s eventual replacement this off-season with one of those three Top 60 picks they have next draft …at least that move might send Ed a very clear message with the new guy and Carter battling with him to pull his finger out or move on … Ive also had a look at Jones contract and it looks tough to get out of in 2025… i would still be looking to draft someone relatively early in 2025 to be his planned replacement in 2026 , and even beat him out mid season next year if they get really lucky .. I would also prefer to see a little more consistency from Rousseau before you extend him at $20mil plus a year … but I expect them to make that move this off-season ..although I don’t know if it makes sense to pay both Edges at the same time ? Maybe could work out if you have both the DTs on rookie deals from 2026?

I would happily be up to play the Rams again in the SB over the Lions and Eagles .. perhaps even the Packers … I don’t think two games is a trend , and the Bills pasting them in between shouldn’t be dismissed ….. on the other side of the coin.., they haven’t been able to stop Josh either in 3 games

Im already over this game .., The question I have … can they win 4 games in a row in the Playoffs with this D … against good running teams and offensive minds that can exploit their deficiencies … they have always had good stats during the regular season when they can fatten up on a lot of the bottom feeders
