I have been saying since the Chiefs loss that you need to lean on the medical staff evaluation of Brown, as he has been injured a lot last season, and even when he has played he hasnt looked as sharp as 2019... If they arent sure about him being the same player as 2019, then I think you move on completely.. Maybe this is what happened.. maybe not.. like a lot of things discussed here we will never know the full story... If they thought he could have been that player he was in 2019,then yes I would have liked to have brought him back at a discount for one more year...

Out of interest his agent is Ex player Dave Butz... See he also acts for Stefon Gilmore so maybe his focus has been on his future trade ...and he has dropped he ball by not getting onto Beane earlier to offer a paycut or pass the news of the paycut offer through to Smoke... Might not be a multi tasker...

Josh is obviously just one of the guys in the locker room and buddies with everyone. He is not your typical aloof Brady/Rogers, but this could be a potential downside when these tough decisions get made and the aggrieved party is left wondering why their good buddy Josh didn’t do something..

There are a lot of names being projected around that spot like Learherwood, Eisenberg and Radunz that have some question marks in my view at the next level..: If they were great tackle prospects they wouldn’t still be there at 31.. We probably willl be having the same dilemma on who to pick at 30 if Williams walks...
