At this point, Im interested in the roster they are building for 2020 .. 2019 was an improvement of 2018.. Im expecting further improvement this season with the addition of a couple more receivers and perhaps an upgrade to the OL... Judge them at the end of 2020... No excuses because they will field the team they have assembled themselves and every position on the O has been churned over the past 2 years except for Dawkins...

Explain the relavance for 2020 by looking at Offense stats from 2018 when the Line was Mills, Ducasse, Miller and Bodine, and the best WR on the team was Zay Jones...

Why is what happened in 2017 or even 2018 relevant to what is going to happen in 2020? How many new players on the team since then? I think what happened in 2019 is more relevant to what will happen next year as the majority of players on the team last year will be there in 2020...

I have been surprised that there doesnt seem to be a lot of mention of Jordan Phillips in articles about Free Agency... He is not mentioned in several Top 100 Free Agents lists for instance... Seems strange to me...

The issue I have with moving Ford to LG is that he is an unknown quantity there at NFL level. They then need another solution at RT, ( at least to share time with Nsekhe ), there is also a question on how this may affect Dawkins play at LT when we saw how he played next to a dud in 2018.. Yes, they aren’t there yet at OL, but there is a risk that these moves may have a negative impact in 2020 when we want to be challenging for Division Title and beyond.. Im not sure this disruption is worth it to save on paying Spain $5-6 Mil a year for probably only 2 years in real time regardless of how long the contract is that he signs...

I think we really need to see why happens in FA first, but with Hughes seemingly on the decline and questions over Shaq and Murphy returning, DE is just a big a need as WR... I expect them to sign a WR and to draft at least one...A lot of good receivers will be available Round 2 and beyond like the last few years..
