I'll say that Cam Newton would make sense for the Bears...in return for their second and Trubisky.. Panthers in rebuild and get a new QB in the draft with Trubisky the bridge ( to another high pick the following year) in 2020..

It is strange to me how some people get a fixation on one guy in the draft... I remember last year someone had a massive hard on for N’Keal Harry.. I liked him as well, but 12 months later I am glad the Bills never drafted him as high as he went..

He would have to be cheap, and he is not used to playing for cheap... It may not agree with him..

I don’t think they will get rid of the preseason completely but will shorten it to two weeks.. 2 preason games, 17 games and 2 byes and the season is the same length as it has always been..

You could argue that Beane got his comp picks for this year when he traded Teller and Bodine for three picks in the 5th and 6th.. Maybe he does similar this year with perhaps Long and Murphy maybe surplus and get moved on for late round picks..

When you acquire a gazilllion free agents like the Bills did in 2019, you don’t get Comp Pinks... Although it won’t be as many as last year, We expect Beane to do more FA shopping next month, so they probably won’t be getting any in 2021 either..

I think your observations here are spot on.. I’ve never seen Spain listed once in these articles and JP rarely mentioned.. As you said, you can’t read to much into that though, and I’m sure that both will receive offers from other teams.. Going to be interesting to see this one unfold over the next few weeks.. I hope the Bills can offer both Spain and JP competitive terms and they remain... I’ll throw a guess and say Phillips at $8M a year and Spain at $6M a year on three year deals could get it done..If it’s gunna take much more than that I’ll let them go.. I would like to see Lawson come back as well, but I think he will move on..
