    If he signs a new deal the cap hit for 2022 can be less than the current 5th year number... this is what happened with Mahomes

    Allens 5th year option is $23m in 2022 He might sign a new deal in the meantime but doubt that cap hit increases ...

    Couple of tough decisions coming up this year.. some good guys full of the process will be struggling to hold onto their spots... Way too early for me to be making any predictions though...

    This was the issue I had as well.... and led to me feeling some frustration when they selected Basham ... I guess to get the “twitchy” guy you describe though you need to be picking Top 5 or spending $16m + a year in free agency so it appears unlikely that Buffalo will be doing either of those the next few years
