Good teams need to find cheap contributors in the third round to fill the less sexy holes at DT, G and maybe even CB2...

Fair enough.. we will agree to disagree.. . The Bills offense was fantastic for most of 2020 though and it went beyond Diggs... I hope we are not reading too much into what happened in the Chiefs playoff game though... there are some excuses.. the Bills receivers were a little nicked up.. the refs allowed them to get mugged all day and the Bills coaches called a conservative game plan...

I think they have got one more year of Star left ( provided he doesnt opt out again..) so I would like them to take one as well this year to learn and be ready to start next year all going well.. It doesnt seem like a lot of options though in the mid rounds.. Alim McNeil and Tyler Shelvin would need to be picked at the end of the third and then a couple of later day 3 options I am looking into are Bobby Brown III and Naquan Jones.. you like any of those guys?

I could see a team trading up for Mac Jones at 30 to get the 5 years of control.. Denver perhaps takes another shot at QB..? I think Toney is a luxury the Bills cant afford this year... What would a good year look for him in 2021 considering the other WR's on the team...500 yards? We dont even know that they are moving on from Brown yet.. he might end up restructuring .... I could maybe live it with at Pick 30 but giving up the third as well... yeesh...

It can’t hurt to have a better 2nd corner but am hoping they can get there cheaper than Pick 30 ... BTW - I do like Radunz and would be very happy with that pick in the 2nd ... but I think he might gone by 40... Also... I think Landon Dickerson won’t get picked in the first as teams will be put off by his injury history ...

I think you can have the 2 best corners in the League and it won’t matter much if Mahomes has all day in the pocket ... We just saw a clinic two weeks ago on how to kick the Chiefs and it was making Mahomes run for his life... The Bucs CB’s are solid but not elite in my book... However .... like you are saying repeatedly... I don’t like the DE options that will be available at Pick 30...they are too raw or not the right schemes fit... Trading down would be ideal although not guaranteed ... in this make believe world I would trade down to 40 and take Chazz Surratt...

You seemed to miss my first point that they need 2 guys...

Even if they bring in a Vet, they will probably need another guy to replace Murphy and Addison ( likely gone IMO) ... They need to get younger at the position so I wouldn’t hate another early draft pick.at DE .. not sure if this is the guy though that they should pick...

So as started this discussion, take his replacement at 30 if there is someone there you like... Its pick 30 not pick 10

On the flip side... supposedly Milano is going to get $12m + a year... why would a team pay him this if they can just get a guy like him in the 3rd round? Arent the Bills letting him walk because they can’t afford to pay him? If he was up last year when they had more money they were probably more likely to re-sign him instead of Addison for example...

I find it interesting that Beane says Milano “ earned the right to test FA” .. correct me if I’m wrong but similar comments were made about Lawson & Phillips last year and they moved on... Since last year we have had Tre and Dion “ earn the right to get a nice contract extension and not have to test FA”... We don’t know the answer but I wonder if they have made him Milano an offer as yet.. maybe not but if they did I agree that he mustn’t have thought a lot of it ... however given how this played out with the other two last year I would say the odds of him coming back seem slim...

If Milano leaves which is seemingly likely, then why do you have an issue with replacing him even at the cost of 30? It’s a critical position in the D playing 100% of snaps...If you could get a replacement on the cheap ( rookie deal) than all good... obviously I would prefer the replacement come in the 2nd but if there is someone there that can do the job at 30... then take him... I’m not sure who the player is BTW... people suggesting Zaven Collins but I think he is more the Lorenzo role than Milano.., and probably won’t be on the field enough to justify at 30..

Looking forward to the Trent Murphy version of this.. In respect of Barkley.... we haven’t had to rely on him much the past two years... and that’s a good thing... I think they bring in another vet to compete with Fromm...

Nah... Colts could have beat the Bills in the wildcard game with a better QB taking them down the field on that last drive.. Thankfully Wentz is not that better QB... Good move for the Bills...

Or perhaps you shouldn’t have taken the ticket to school with you ...
