Couldnt they have got a DE signed in FA and then cut Addison.. at least they are younger guys that could be on the team contributing for years...if you dont land a guy then keep Addison . He has taken a paycut more than likely in return for some more guaranteed money this year ( I havent seen this confirmed anywhere but its usually the convention..) so it seems unlikely now that will happen..

I see what you are saying... but maybe they just want to pay him because he deserves it... even if the “rules “ allow them to try to pay him less... He has been paid chump change in his career so far..

They can find the CB, OL and LB in the draft... DE is harder particularly at 30... lot of low floor high ceiling types though...

Well.. as Hap pointed out earlier.. they weren't too embarrassed to bench Spain who was on a similar deal to what Feliciano has signed.. and then cut him and let $5M worth of dead money walk out the door... Maybe they trade Ford for like a swap of 7th round picks or something before Week 1... nothing is gunna surprise me anymore..

Why cant they still do this? They can move on from Morse at the end of this year and the pick can take over as C in 2022 after a year to learn the ropes and compete for a starting G spot in 2021

Your friend sounds like a bit of a knucklehead... I always at least follow the game live on my phone ( and the game thread here which is always entertaining..) if I cant watch it... the majority of games are on at 4 in the morning though so its not like I have anything else I am doing at that time...

Yep.. they can do all that and I still expect them to sign a couple of guys in FA as well... Maybe not massive names but solid contributors .. They can free up some more space should they choose to...

There is also the possibility that Watson/Wilson gets traded to Miami and the Bills have got their hands full dealing with them to even win the division... Some people need to get over the KC fixation.. the last memory I have of them is Mahomes alternating between running for his life and being flat on his back...

The Feliciano deal tells me that their next move will be to restructure Diggs and some other guys...not pay cuts but transfer salary to signing bonus and kicking it down the road

They will probably draft someone but it will be tough to make a difference in Year 1 ...Hope Im wrong..
