I’m waiting until after the draft …I suspect that they draft a WR in rounds 2-4 …so that probably closes the door on Cooper.. they might take two CBs in the draft this year … but say they only take one then maybe Douglas is still some hope … I don’t think he is playing on a Brandon Beane $2mil special if that’s the expectation…. Maybe $3m might get it done

How much do you want to pay them ?

I’ll tell you pretty simply what my argument is . He could have asked for and received $65m a year from the Bills and no one would have really blinked an eye… He has played for $10m a year less ..: I’m not saying that makes him some type of matyr or anything …but no doubt it will help them out …

Eventually one of the other teams in the Division is going to get their act together, and they look to be in the box seat ….although 2025 might be too soon … Will be interesting to see what that Number 4 pick turns into … Jets couldn’t really hit a home run with one of their top picks …

Completely agree with you about Thomas giving off Elam vibes … I’ll pass… even at 30 with no thought of moving up for him … Revel and Hairston are of more interest to me …. Could even both be there well into the second … Joe Marino mentioned that Hairston has an off field allegation from his early college days that might put some teams off him …

well … Im hoping that if they pick someone in the first or second then they won’t take long to be the starter … particularly with the way things stand on the roster at the moment with the depth … Douglas was terrible last year … I dont really want him back either .., Tre White and even Benford have been able to make the leap to starters as rookies so it’s not an impossible task

Do you expect the CB they take this year to be a starter come the playoffs? Otherwise is the plan to rely on Jackson ? I was referring to Bishop , and you have changed the argument to Elam… I agree that he was terrible and had no business being on the field in that game … mentally he was cooked … Im actually surprised they persevered with him for so long

Why is Bishop being a rookie an excuse ? He was a second round pick …I dont think it’s unreasonable to expect that he would be a starter by the time they got to the playoffs…The Chiefs have started a few rookies against us in playoff games over the years …
