the thing is though ….what happens to that person filling in when Larry is back to the 53 team after his suspension ? At least Phillips could go to the practice squad and will be pretty much unwanted by anyone else …

I think your criticism is over the top…considering his time playing here previously …he’ll be fine as the expected CB3… provides a bit of insurance if the Rookie has some difficulty “learning the playbook”….

Very predictable move …. Particular with the injury concerns with Samuel …. im ok with it …no superstar but can do a job if required ….they loved him when he was here …7th Round pick etc . I’m expecting someone to be picked in the Top 60 …they need to make sure of it this time …so Beane might even make a bigger trade up than he has previously if they are in love with someone in the first … I also think they like Ingram as depth … but if they have any picks left going into the 5th they might draft another guy to compete with him
