I think you answered your own questions here… The Bills need to play like they did over the first part of the season last year…when they were beating the Chiefs at Arrowhead.. They struggled over the back half of the season …injuries were no doubt a factor, but also the coaching was below what it needed to be …JA needs to be a bit more patient and take what’s on offer rather than bombs away… They need to concentrate on themselves… not be worrying about what the Jets are doing..

No need to be scared of the Jets on our behalf champ…

He is knocking on the door of 40 and seemed to be struggling at times last season.. He has been a great player no doubt… but not every 40 year old is going to age like Brady has.. Let’s see how he goes … is he better than Wilson ? Of course … The question should be is he still good enough to be a difference maker over the course of the season? It’s a risky move made by guys whose jobs are on the line and didn’t have many other options..they will be gone if he is one season and done and they miss the playoffs ..

They will be looking to show off Rodgers NYJ debut in a Prime time game.. Could be Bills v Jets week 1 Sunday or Monday night…

Yes I agree.. it’s gunna be a tougher division … but the biggest threats will still be the Chiefs and Bengals..

Let’s just worry about ourselves first hey? If the Bills are playing close to their best like the start of the season last year… they should still be ok for the Division and a Championship run.. If they play like the second half of last season… then it won’t really matter what the Jets are doing …because that level of play isn’t doing much come the playoffs as we saw in January..

Can’t really see the harm in bringing him back for camp and see how he goes… He might think he has something to prove ..

The swap of first round picks is about bottom third round value… It’s more than what the Jets fans have been telling each other for months that they should pay … a lot more

Yes.. he won’t be a terrible QB in 2023 … I think he will be middle of the pack… down from Top 5 Is this enough for the Jets to win the Division? I would say no if the Bills are close to their best and have a good run with injuries..

I think he might decline pretty quick…

Jets have had to give up more than what most fans expected…

You might also need to kick a FG at the end of the game to win it… I think the Bills might have been in that situation a few decades back.

Can’t say I know one way or the other who they preferred … but after the Chiefs pick ..Beane was paying whatever it took to move up for Elam… My guess would be that they we’re probably ok with either .

Every man and his dog knew that the Bills wanted a CB last year … and what happened, they got jumped by the Chiefs in Round 1..and it seemed to rattle them a bit on the day.. I have no idea if they are looking at OL or not… but I’m sure they are doing a bit more this year to “muddy the waters “ so I wouldn’t necessarily be thinking Beane is being entirely up front and honest in what he has said publicly so far…

My problem is that they don’t seem to value RBs in their play calling enough to justify a first round pick … They have their second round pick from last year, a guy they traded a 5th for mid season, ( and then never used) and they rounded it out with Damien Harris who I think is good player and gives them a bit of power to go with the other two’s finesse and speed.. If this is their 3 RBs that suit up each week then I think that’s sufficient to meet their run game commitments

“Draft experts” have to find a landing spot for RBs that they have a first round grade on in their mock drafts …and for some reason these last few years it’s always the Bills.. I would put the chances as below 5 percent they pick this guy at 27

Wylie may have been their least player on the OL but he was much better than Brown last year… I see he is making $8m a year now …

The flip side of course is that Brown doesn’t improve… He was terrible last year.. if that continues then I could see that being something that could derail a season… They kept expecting Ford to take a big step forward which never happened..
