Sounds like he hasnt heard anything but just making logical assumptions based on relationships I would suspect if they werent coming back it would be official by now so they could try to get a gig elsewhere... Unless Leslie is retiring anyway...

Good post...and a couple of points Ive considered before... The lead up to the 2019 draft is the one that I spend the most time taking in content from the "experts" Cody Ford was a highly rated prospect .. I remember that of the 6 people on nfl.com making mock drafts, the lowest had him going mid 20s Daniel Jeremiah has a better than average reputation (not sure why) , but in his final mock from 2019... had Oliver at 4 and Ford at 14.. double woof... There is no accountability, no looking back from any of these guys ... waste of time in my mind and I rarely look at any of these any more...maybe a week or two out when these guys have heard all the rumours... Having said that though... it still doesnt excuse that Ford a miss from Beane and his staff... I have also raised deficiencies in the coaching as a possible explanation for so many drafting failures (particularly on the D line) but didnt get much of a response... there seems to me an expectation that Day 1-2 picks shouldnt require much seasoning and should be starting and playing well from the get go...

So taking that further… if the “party line” is to talk up the coaches.. doesn’t make a lot of sense to be getting rid of them later right?

If they continue with this D scheme… I think they will be unlikely to progress any further.. If McD is the coach and leader that we hope he is… he has got to get get in someone else to do something different … don’t run this back..

The only thing I’ll say is that they have not played to their best over the second half of the season …. That loss was coming for some time … even before the Damar incident… Maybe in hindsight it might have been better for them to get that beat down in Week 17…

They own the Sabres too dont they? In comparison, the Bills arent their problem child...
