The point about other holes is true … but not relevant to this thread discussion… There has always been an expectation that they would upgrade the WRs these past few months… barely anyone suggested Hopkins was going to be part of that solution until the last two weeks… Im confident that a solution will be found still… although Beane will really need to be multi tasking over the remainder of the off season..

Two weeks ago, no one thought Hopkins was coming here ….don’t remember a lot of panic then

My main priority this off season is improving the OL.. and I havent been too impressed to date.. Just making a point here that hanging onto Davis in 2023 might not be a bad thing , even if we acquire Jeudy/Hopkins... It doesnt make him a "backup" if you look at how one of our premier rivals the Bengals utilise their three receivers...

The Bengals can have three good receivers... as can we... Davis is on $2M and playing for a new contract.. I can live with him for another year even if they bring someone else in...

Maybe Spotrac got the number wrong.. although he is right about player contracts going up as the cap goes up.. Elite WRs and OT getting $30M a year and that will go up as the cap goes up...

We are trying to get more targets for JA right not just swapping them over...? Give them our 2nd and keep Davis..
