Ok thanks… In my opinion..they probably would have let Edmunds walk after his 4h year rather than tag him or match even $12m a year which some team would have offered him …as you say …2022 was by some margin his best year..and not sure they would have paid him more than Milano was getting based on Edmunds play prior to last year… another factor in picking up his 5th ..probably wanted to lock him in for another year guaranteed in the middle of their SB window… Picking up Oliver’s 5th year deal has backfired …. No arguments there I guess in hindsight it’s clear which way they should have gone… to be fair though it’s tougher to make the decision at the time… They’ll have to make the call on Rousseau in 12 months… another tough decision…hope he can have a big year this year..

We had a really unfortunate year with injuries … so yes this was a factor . And we certainly didn’t have much luck… I think we need to include better coaching … some flexibility around D Scheme… a bit more patience on O to take what’s on offer rather than bombs away… I think both of these will happen next year …

Yeah I agree… you don’t do the Von deal if you are going to pay an elite DT the next year .. Only positive I can take out of this is that Oliver sees what money these guys are making and really pins his ears back this year to get a new deal.. won’t be from us though

Ok.. … As we saw last year from Beane… he will move up to get someone at a position of need … so it wouldn’t totally surprise.. I’m not aiming this at you, but I think some people here don’t really appreciate what it takes to move up in the first round… they seem to think the Bills can get from 27 up to the mid teens by throwing out a couple of Day 3 picks…

13-3 is a great year… although personally I thought that they struggled at times over the second half of the season and perhaps that record flattered them a little, as we saw with their form in the playoffs.. Eventually though, with Josh Allen on this team, they will need to break through and win a Championship or it’s going to seem like disappointment.. even if they go 13-3 every year until he retires … I still think they should be able to do it at some stage, so yes….my expectations are high going into each year with prime Josh Allen …

Like I said… give up the fourth if you must to move up two spots ( that’s all you get based on what we saw last year..) … just keep the second and third ..

Trading up in the first is too expensive….a fourth to move up two spots …if they gotta do that again then that should be the maximum to outlay… They need to keep their second and third and take immediate contributors.. Im with you…

A few people were supportive of the pick…..one guy who still posts here wanted to actually take him in the first … Of course most wanted Creed Humphrey who went a pick or two later to KC..

I hated that pick at the time… said so in the draft thread here .. I do recall Beane saying that he was “ sticking out” on their board… They got that one wrong…
