I said earlier that he made that play at the end of the game last week which helped give them one more chance at the end …. No other non starter on the team made any impact throughout the game that I can recall… I would give him an opportunity to try and come back as a depth guy at a minimum deal type contract with a very small guaranteed portion …. If he wins the position then great … if not then no harm done…

I agree with a lot of your points … but actually in regards to your last point …I’m starting to come around to the position that they need better athletes in the secondary…. McD can “get by” with lesser athletes there ,,,until we get to the elites in the playoffs and they get shredded …if they are not re- signing Benford then I think they should take a swing on a CB early in this next draft and hopefully have him as your main guy in 2026 if you hit and let Benford go … In regards to Rousseau…I was very disappointed with his performance last week … I don’t think he is going to be the difference make I had hoped for … my off season pipe dream I’m going to hang onto for a bit is to use him in a trade for Crosby or Garrett…

I would be prepared to pay the cost to get to Crosby … which won’t be cheap…they need someone elite to actually be able to help next year to try to move them the next step.. If they take a guy at the end of the second he is unlikely to have much of an impact next year

yeah … he made a play and a couple of other bigger names didn’t … I gotta feeling Beane gives him a shot with a very small amount of guaranteed money say $250k and about $1.5m in total plus some incentives he likely won’t achieve … if he beats someone else out for the 5th DT role then all good … otherwise you aren’t giving away too much …maybe he’ll hang around on the PS for a bit ..

I was a Coleman hater prior to the draft… but I’ll be honest enough to say that he has played better than my expectations…. ( which were admittedly low) …And that 4 week injury absence came at the absolute worst time when he was playing his best of the season and earning Josh’s confidence …. Unfortunately he disappeared into a hole when he came back … I wonder what the plan was for him this year ? He was only 20 when they drafted him and pretty green ( still is) … he was always going to take some time to develop … he could turn into a reasonable player in time … was that the best way to go and the only WR pick in what was a pretty WR heavy draft when they had such a need at the position? They seem to play a long game with a lot of their picks … that’s probably a good long term strategy … but I would prefer to see some more urgency now with where JA is in his career ..

Yep .., but we also have the benefit of hindsight now and we can recognise the value BT Jr actually has …if they redo that draft he is going a lot earlier than 23

They were one of the best defences of all time … the Bills likely won’t reach that talent level… so I hope that isn’t a requirement of the scheme … Anyone else … or have the Bills got to repeat what has only been done once before by one of the best defences in recent memory ?
