  1. Basically, you have to take what any given team is giving you.
  2. This was true last year. The offense has improved this year.
  3. In the Ravens game there was a screen that Singletary advertised the whole way which didn't go anywhere. This is something these young uns will need to learn and develop better.
  4. I saw a tweat, I think from Field Yates, that said the Bills won 10 games for the first time since '99, snapping the NFL's longest streak without double digit wins. I wonder who holds that record now?
  5. Someone should invite the guy to their tailgate in two weeks. Welcome a long time supporter back to the fold.
  6. Gosh, I would hope not. You're probably right!
  7. Agree. The obvious question is would McD and Daboll shut the offense down with 8 minutes left in a game vs. Watson or Mahomes? It's not just Mahomes. It's everyone, everywhere, all the time. Many a PI is a result of throws like this. It's part of the gameplan.
  8. Boy, wouldn't that be a nice way to put a bow on this season. Couldn't think of a better way to pass the AFC East torch to the new leader.
  9. This is the problem with these "grade Allen" threads. We don't know the game plan, we don't know Daboll's calls, we don't know Josh's audibles, we don't know whether the receivers ran the right routes, we don't know if the line executed their protections, we don't know whether Josh picked up the right takeout for dinner on his way home from the game. People are grading him based on their perceptions or biased lens of their expectations. This is akin to scoring Josh on a math test when he was taking a chemistry test. The coaching staff are the ones that wrote the test and the only ones qualified to grade. Sure, we have the "eye test" and that is what makes a thread like this fun, at times. But man, we all need to maintain a better perspective of responsibilities and accountabilities. Trust your receivers...and smurfs
  10. As I watched our defensive backs jump into the air, put both hands on the ball, control it and bring it down for an interception I thought, why can't Beas do that? Anyone else? So because our WR does EXACTLY what they are suppose to do; does EXACTLY what they are being paid millions to do? Really?
  11. the ball was a little high but bees had two hands on it
  12. Couldn't disagree more
  13. I thought he turned his head up field too soon, taking his eyes off the ball
  14. Yeah, sorry, wasn't clear. I'd like to see the retention by round, either by 5th year option or new contract I guess my point being that I think the chances of an earlier round player being good and therefore retained or having a higher subsequent value, is greater the earlier a player is drafted.
