  1. This is my thought as well. The hot read was missed. But as a few other posters have already said, Josh and Beasley know what should have happened and who didn't make the adjustment. These are the kinds of things that the average poster doesn't consider. It's easy to blame one guy and that one guy is normally the QB. Maybe the blame belongs there, maybe it doesn't. And how long have Brady and Edelman been playing, and how long have they been playing together? They're the epitome of the perfectly fitting hand and glove. That relationship takes a few years to build.
  2. We've got a pretty standard bell curve on this subject. 10% that can rightfully so be called Josh haters, no matter how well he does. 10% that can rightfully so be called Josh lovers, no matter how poorly he does. And 80% that are mostly fair, while certainly leaning one way or the other but can at least accept opinions that are adequately supported. Now neither of the posters in the 10% legs of this bell curve believe they are crazy, extreme, whacked out in their opinions. They believe they are "main stream". When they get called out they make claims that the opposite 10% come out in droves. And when the 80% that are truly mainstream tell any of the 10%ers that they are over the top in the love or hate, the 10% try their darndest to group them into the opposite 10%, normally to little avail.
  3. I agree with this. We all knew it was the defense that won the first 4 games, and kept us in the NE game. Yesterday the offense won the game.
  4. LOL. Did you just say the Biils have a great offense that is being held back by Allen?
  5. A couple of things. First of all, if the other 10 offensive players we're all perfect then you would have a point blaming Allen for the offense's performance. Of course we know they weren't. Secondly, I know there is one person that agrees with you , and that is Josh Allen. The leader that he is, he takes 100% responsibility for all of the mistakes and credits his teammates for the successes.
  6. I didn't think this thread was grading the offense, but rather Allen. Do you recognize the difference?
  7. Good luck I think NEs D will make Darnold not look very good.
  8. I'd take the points too if I was putting some $$s down. Picking the phins straight up seems crazy to me. The guy's a phins fan and is picking this one from his heart. He's gotta be.
  9. Is this with the points or straight up? Unless I'm missing it, this is straight up.
  10. I thought I saw earlier in the week that Josh injured his left hand. This says his right hand. This is more concerning.
  11. Are you saying Allen can't throw the ball? Otherwise, I'm missing your point.
  12. I'd love to have Kenny Golladay on this Bills team. The kid's a stud and he has a great attitude that would fit the Bill's culture.
  13. Is the talent on the Lions a result of it being Detroit? And does Buffalo have a similar challenge? I'd say yes. Obviously the owners, GMs and organizations all are factors. But holding those other factors equal among all locations, Buffalo has the same challenge in attracting talent that Detroit does. I want the best talent Buffalo can get, but Buffalo will always struggle with getting enough talent to regularly compete for the Super Bowl. There will always be more attractive locations to play at.
  14. If you went back to 2017 and worried about who you'd pick in the draft, vs. putting everything you owned on the NBA, Stanley Cup and NFL winners, you are $%^*&*^%#^, period!
  15. Somebody has to ask him about this. So very hard to believe.
  16. I'm not sure the Bill's defense is the factor in Josh's performance as much as you think it is.
  17. There isn't a poster that believes Josh is anywhere near a completed product. It's this kind of hyperbole that fires up folks. Good post!
  18. The jury is still out on most of the offense in this fan's opinion. It's better than last year but still has plenty of room for improvement. The edges on the O line have been very poor. WR separation, hands and winning those 50/50 balls is still pretty poor. Our WR aren't very physical, more of the finesse type. TEs are young and are making rookie mistakes. We needed to see the O improve over the first 1/2 dozen games - I'm encouraged. I agree with our D being a huge benefit, but I was talking our offense. The o/u was because it was Buffalo.
  19. Allen wasn't given keys to a car with much of an engine in it either. There have certainly been improvements made this season but I don't know that the Bills offense is much more than a 5 year old, reliable, car one would give their college kid to drive.
  20. Fly to San Diego for the weekend and catch the Wyo vs SDSU football game. Isn't that what everyone else here does?
  21. I don't get the difficulty in understanding this philosophy. It's there and it's valid. Spot on my man! McDermott isn't the only coach with this philosophy and it's intentional.
  22. Actually, it wasn't clearly one or the other, which is why it's a controversy. People are seeing what they want to see. Where Wycheck and Dyson's body parts were don't matter. I think the still photo evidence is actually pretty solid. I don't understand the argument that it isn't. One of those calls that comes down to the officials judgement. Either way this was called, I don't think there's enough evidence to reverse the call on the field.
