  1. Based on Allen not doing well enough, Rosen not doing poorly enough. or all of the above?
  2. Two thoughts here. I do agree with you mostly. What I like in your post and believe to be pretty dang important, is the right Josh needs to make a mistake. We need to allow him, and everyone else for that matter, to make mistakes - don't expect them to be perfect. Perfection doesn't happen. Ever. And most of us need to make mistakes to learn from and grow and become better. Second point is that while perfection is the enemy of the good, I think good is the enemy of great (I'm a Jim Collins guy). Josh, or anyone else for that matter, can't get comfortable with good. If he wants to become great, he's got to keep working hard.
  3. At a Wyoming Cowboy bowl game a few years back, there was an event the night before with the boosters and players. I was talking to Josh and getting his autograph. My son, who was a senior in HS at the time disappeared. I found him on the other side of the room talking to Brittany. Brittany was a cheerleader for Fresno State at that time. Smart kid!
  4. My vote goes for Sister Jean from Loyola
  5. I'm not sure they want to test Tua's health yet
  6. I don't have faith that Daboll will dial up a 35pt game
  7. A few of us are fans of slow, steady drives on offense. As long as you score, use as much clock as you can. Might mean we win by 10 vs win by 20, but the goal is to win
  8. Gotta open up the offense.
  9. We should start worrying when these two stop hating Josh.
  10. And if I'm thinking of one of these two hits in the pocket, it was after he tossed the ball and it was called a late hit.
  11. This is the real point. Everyone knows he can make these throws because he has. And every QB misses throws - each and every game. There will always be that one throw, or those two throws. If that is what some what to focus on, so be it.
  12. I don't want to score on our first play. I'd rather have a long successful sustained drive for a touchdown.
  13. That's rather generous
  14. Covid is the wild card. I think there will be players sitting out games in recovery. Who those are on each of the teams and for which games will make some wins and losses go different than is planned or expected. If one of the better teams is lucky to not have any of its players miss any games, they will have have the playoff seeding advantage. A team or more that catches an outbreak heading into the playoffs can have their season obliterated by the virus. How much the virus impacts these things can, and most likely will, put an asterisk next to the 2021 Super Bowl Champion in the history books.
  15. How many will be affected? I feel that the Bill's are teed up very well but I can't get past, THIS SEASON. Stinkin covid
  16. Let's be careful putting the period behind these efforts from Italy, German, Saping, New York, South Korea, etc. Until we find a good vaccine or develop herd immunity, this disease is going to cycle in and out or our communities. Our treatment of the disease continues to get better. It's target is clearly the elderly with over 90% of deaths in people 55 and older and darn near 80% of deaths in people 65 and older.
  17. In my opinion, we're doing what we WANT to do, which certainly isn't what we could do to limit the impact on our health or on our economy. That's the American spirit and overall, it's made us a pretty awesome place to live. Not perfect, but pretty darn good. You watch, we'll be the country that develops the vaccine and some of the most effective treatment.
  18. I enjoyed this. Thanks for posting
  19. I hear ya, however that "do it all himself" attitude is the edge that Josh has too. it was what made him pick up that fumbled snap in Dallas and fight through the line for the first down. I don't know if I'm saying this the right way, but you know what I mean.
  20. I think it's difficult to define what he needs to do right now. Someone above tossed out a yards passing per game of 235 yds, or something like that. What if he averages something less, like 210, but he leads the team to a dozen wins (and you can credit his leadership). What if the team becomes a strong running team behind Singletary and the passing game is there to compliment the running game, with JA scrambling effectively in the game plan, gaining 50+ yds rushing each game. I do expect and would like to see JA passing for 235 yds per game. All I'm saying is let's allow JA and everyone else to do what they need to do this coming year to win and evaluate JA based on that.
  21. What if Allen works out and stays healthy? Who do you want in the locker room? The only guy mentioned that fits the culture, in my opinion, is Dalton. I don't want the other three sitting on the bench. I don't think that would work. I would love this
