  1. And we shouldn't discount this. It could keep Allen & Co on the bench for a majority of the game.
  2. I think RPOs could be very effective, especially given the weather. I wish we were deeper at the TE position for this game. What are you saying here regarding Knox? Is there a possibility he plays?
  3. I think they're spot on. But Simms said something that I think is important to hear. He said that as long as the game stays close, if favors NE. We need to get out early and often and get up a couple of scores. Then it favors us.
  4. 10 guys around Josh that can't make the mistakes they've been making. No TOs by the others. No drops. no whiffs on blocking assignments. No movement on the line. Etc. There was a good article in the Athletic I read this morning detailing all of the individual errors our offense has had. Way too many indivdiual mistakes. I hope the O has addressed these. Kinda embarrassing really, when you see it in print.
  5. You don't cut him without having a better kicker in your back pocket.
  6. Stack the box, contain Newton and make him beat us with his arm.
  7. I didn't see much panic. He was forced (not chosen by him) to scramble a lot today and did pretty good scrambling too. My opinion anyways
  8. Agree. I'd add Hughes
  9. I think he did exactly what he was told to do
  10. I didn't see a receiver open. Who did you see
  11. We're in field-goal range again. Awesome!
  12. He's scrambling on almost every play. Makes it hard
  13. I hope it's Brown. It could be something deeper.
  14. Are the receivers not creating separation? Is Josh not finding them? This is frustrating
  15. Quick strike over the middle? We can't contain either edge, we can't stop the run....... Guys in this thread that think our D is going to come out and make some kind of statement are fooling themselves. Our one dimensional offense is going to have to have a near perfect game to beat the Jets.
  16. Heads weren't where they needed to be. Just thinking about the last half of the 4th quarter. We have our #1 WR walking back to the LOS as the clock is running, we have two 15yd roughing penalties on our defense, we have our QB run up the middle for less than 10yrds with no time outs to stop the clock. Hearts and heads weren't there. And you know we know better. It's things like this I can't get my head wrapped around.
  17. Yeah, I wasn't defending our offense. I'm struggling with the posters that are defending our defense.
  18. Do the Bills have the personnel to improve the run game? While we pass block OK, we are terrible run blocking. Is that scheme (coaching) or talent on the field?
  19. You can't compare the typical KC offense to last night's game. They brought an entirely different game plan. I don't know if it was due to the whether, due to tape on the Bills, etc. They didn't bring their "high powered" offense. Mahomes was a game manager last night and they ran the ball up our "personalities" using much more clock on their drives than they typically due. While we did drop our defenders some, to keep their receivers in front of us, we couldn't stop their run so they just simply kept bringing it. This is exactly what happened
  20. Any of our future opponents that don't run it up our throats, with an RPO sprinkled in here and there to their tight end hasn't been paying attention. You think the D functioned last night?
