How many points do the Bills have to score Sunday night? Steelers give up an average of under 18. I think if we put 24 on the board we win. But those 24 will prove to be very tough to get. Josh will be under pressure all night. Small ball wins this game and Josh has to manage that type of game.
Revel in the fact that the fewer doubters that exist right now are in the small minority. A year ago, the small minority was made up by those that believed. That pendulum has swung a lot in the last year.
When Nick has to pick and chose a short period of time to defend his opinion, rather than considering the entire body of work, you know his narrative is wrong. It's just that simple. The guy's a knucklehead and is very easy to see through.
That was one of those questions I mentioned in the Kyler thread. As soon as the media guy said, I'm going to get philosophical with you, with this question, I thought Oh Oh. Josh hit it out of the park with his answer.
These guys live under a microscope. Any flaw gets exposed. I'm not defending him, simply stating reality. I actually cringe every time Josh or any other of our players get behind a mic. The local media is pretty good but the national media always seems to toss in a couple of gotcha questions that one really needs to be thoughtful about answering.
I also check out the opponents boards. I don't post.
It's interesting to see the kind of fans on opponent boards. While there are fans on all boards, at both extremes, I found the 49er fans to be mostly realistic regarding their expectations. I visited the Steelers board the other day and found and thought the same thing. Lots of introspection in that fanbase.
I will say, however, that most of those 2nd half flags against us that I've seen have been correct. There is at least one second half offensive drive every dang game were we seem to find our way to 20-35 penalty yards. Drive killers. Officials don't necessarily need to pile on our self inflicted penalties.
Professional athletes treated preferentially for the vaccine simply shouldn't even be a thing. There are so many others that need to be in line long before pro athletes are.
Donkeys have a formidable defense. Their weakness is at QB. Lock might be the most inconsistent QB in the league. Their D can hold an offense in the high teens and when they're successful doing that, they'll have a chance to win games. Their offense will generally not be able to put 20pts on the board.
