  1. I agree with this. I even think it's good to empty the backfield at times.
  2. Following the theme of staying humble and hungry, I fixed your post for you.
  3. This! Diggs and Allen's improvement have made Brown, Beas, Davis and Knox so much better this year. Last year the #1 DB was on Brown. The dynamics of our WR group is completely different this year.
  4. Yeah, I've been watching the line all week as well. It's important to separate the MEDIA hype from where the money is actually being played.
  5. All five need to contribute. To the extent the Raven's D takes Diggs and Beas out of the game will only open up the other three and they have to be there to pick up those opportunities. If they do, and I think they can, I don't see the Ravens stopping this offense. The numbers are against them.
  6. I stand corrected. I'm not sure what box score I called up. Dang, can't get anything past you guys, and I'm happy for that. Nonetheless, JA still threw for over 300 yds vs a really good secondary. Now looking at the correct box score, I see Beas had 100 yds receiving vs the Rams. As I mentioned in another post, I think Cole will have a big game tomorrow.
  7. The Bills have faced tougher defenses this year and a few others as tough. We did fine. This narrative is confusing me too, but it's selling newspapers.
  8. And don't forget the Rams. Diggs had something like 130 yds vs Ramsey.
  9. The Ravens don't have enough DBs (including LBs in coverage). That's the way I see it and the reason they will lose the game tomorrow. I've been thinking, more and more as the week progresses, that Beas is going to be the Raven's killer. I'm expecting a monster game from Cole.
  10. Ask Josh, he'll tell you I actually think the did both. Does that make sense?
  11. Today Max picks the Ravens and Stephan A picks the Bills???
  12. Well, it would be today. Monday morning it wouldn't be.
  13. I think we're going to see a lot of Josh going back and forth, shotgun vs under center and a lot of shifting by Knox, in order to read the blitz. Also need some effective hard counts from Josh. Keep the WRs spread out most of the time. I think this offense is doing a really good job reading and responding to defenses. The Ravens will surprise some, of course. I just think Josh will know what's coming most of the time.
  14. Guilty. I actually thought that in the Colts game.
  15. Stephan A is always wrong when he's interrupting the other guys at the table. Always. And he was interrupting a lot here. He said his peace and then wouldn't let Max say his without interrupting. Great juju for the Bills.
  16. This is simply another test for this Bill's team. You gotta respect both LJ and the Raven's defense. But the Bills will pass this next test.
  17. This was the original bet, yes. But before the Colt game, Wright gave Cowherd the out for Colin's birthday which I think was that day. So in essence, there was no risk to Colin. Wright still is committed to the condiment bath if the Bills win on Saturday. But as I've said before, I don't think the Bills should in any way do anything to acknowledge Wright and this bet. Wright can do it on his own time, in his own studio and in any way he chooses.
  18. I think the bet is still on, for his side of the bet. If the Bills win, weather will be the excuse Bucky uses.
  19. I was at that game. No moisture the first half. It wasn't even that cold. I went down underneath the stadium at half time for some refreshments and when I walked back out for the second half, there was already an inch of snow on the field. Crazy. That winning drive in the 4th by Josh was epic Josh!
  20. Allen's QBR this last weekend was second to Aaron Rogers. This Wright character continues to ride his horse on Allen. Today that horse is nothing more than one of those kiddy horses with springs at each corner. And he just continues to kick the horse. And if Josh and the Bills win?
  21. I actually think the Bill's best looks on offense will be 4 wide, with a Knox on the line and Allen in an empty back field. I think the Ravens will struggle defending that. Josh will have to have a receiver or two running short routes, but if the Bills can execute this plan, they roll.
  22. Tanny threw the ball in the first quarter and he was torching the Raven's D. Confounding to me why they gave that up.
